After reading in this thread, Skynet is sucks, Kangaroo is Sucks , Pos laju is sucks than what else is not?
What about UPS? Do they provide collection and delivery services to home and offices domestically?

Im looking for a service to deliver my goods to my client around klang valley. Are there any good and economical service around ?

Let say if u are a busy person who don't want to go to Pos Office for the purpose of sending things there and wait like 1 hour? Does other Courier service provide collection service ?

And if the recipient is not at home, does other courier service try to contact the recipient to deliver the 2nd time by Appointment?

Pos Laju does collect from your home/office, but you must be a registered business under them or something like that.. for Klang Valley, IMO Pos Laju is great. The worst thing I've had happen to my packages would be delays, and even then it was a couple of days max, and only a few times out of many.

Added on September 25, 2010, 12:05 amSome lowyat members said that Pos laju dont provide second attempt to deliver to recipient if they were in the toilet. if this happen, its a bit troublesome to go to the pos office. i have to go like almost 15KM to retrieve the parcel.

im not worry about the item speedy delivery as many company are prompt except the initiative to call the recipient or hand deliver direct to them even when the recipient says he is coming back to collect the parcel since he went out to buy lunch for a while . he say give him 5 minute and the delivery guy will say "Yes".

Or

the courier service will deliver to the recipient the next day by appointment made between them.

This is GOOD service.

U want good service, go for Fedex or DHL.

U want cheaper or lower rate, don't expect for good service

Common sense, u paid what u get. Don't expect Myvi price for BMW performance. ^_*

If u found even city with BMW performance, inform me, i'll switch directly

Introduce you one.

ISIS Logistic.

Go google for it, new company created especially for online seller.

No comment on the service what they claim on the website, never use before.

thanks renee. i think good service is very subjective. there are like 4-5 courier or more companies now competing each other . The fleet of vehicles , manpower, system, control room , logistic all comes into place.

fedex and dhl is great if the goods are valuable or demand care. But to sent a couple of used products like office stapler, blades or even a CD don't really requires high cost.

A good domestic courier service should have someone on the Operation Room handles the call between recipient and delivery guy . A comm station is great, the delivery time can be efficient.

If anyone see Discovery on Korea Courier Service lately, will know how they work and committed on the dot.

Our discussion on courier service is A to B. I am more interested in A to C. Hence, Renee pointed out to me that there is such service A To C with this company call ISIS earlier.

I think these days, many of us have been improvizing our business using the internet in homebusiness. Many courier firms still did not realized our pain and needs yet thus they are still assuming all consumers operate at offices.

If there have foresee the huge market from homebiz , the market is huge.

pos laju???
usually they will leave a note for u and ask u to collect yourself. what's the different than if the task is pass to someone who have to travel all the way in their whereabout logistic.
