do you want me to get the UE replacement cables for you? I am using a TF10, and my cable broke 2 times (no sound from left/right). First time sent to RMA, waited for 3 months... 2nd time just went ahead and got the replacement cable from Stereo, Singapore.

I forgot how much I paid... but I'm pretty sure it is less than S$50. Stereo sells Westone cables too.

i think you guys should do it, at least as an upgrade, or as a "spare" so if *accident* happen you can swap cables and still continue to enjoy the TF10. i wonder if UE is going to do something about the cable issue.. as it is happening to everybody.. if would be great if they upgrade the cable design and offered free replacements. *dreams* wub.gif

by the way, as a person who used both the TF10 and SF5vi, what do you think of it? do share!

I don't think it's appropriate to compare these 2. UE TF10 is high end, whereas the SF5vi is more like entry level. It would be Proton vs Ferrari xD

For a price of less then RM300 (in garage sales), I think the SF5vi is rather good considering it has a mic and controls for iPhones and Blackberries. As in all BA-based IEMs, SF5vi has decent speed, but for some reason... It gets "confused" if a song is too complex, everything just turns to rojak tongue.gif

Just use the IEM for 1 month and realise that the cable is very fragile. Plan to upgrade the cable on my next trip to S'pore.

Big sound quality different if compare to my Monster Beat Lady Gaga or Monster Beat Studio.
