hey guys, as you might have guessed, im still a new trader in LYN and i would appreciate if any of you seniors can help me out abit as im still a little noob with this.

anyway, im trying to sell of my USB modem via postage. the buyer has contacted me and is interested in buying, and he is willing to bank-in the required amount.

my question is:

1. how do i do the transaction? im using CIMB account, the bank account no. for bank-in is it in the back of the CIMB ATM card? is there any risk to telling people about my account no.?

2. where can i find a good courier service near cyberjaya? how much is the fees for postage from cyberjaya to kuantan?

- CIMB Account No. wasn't at 'ur card back (Unless U wrote it there)
- CIMB Account No = 14 Digit (1009**********) may difer by state if i'm not mistaken...also stated in 'ur Bank Book
- No risks to tell people 'bout 'ur Acc Number as long as U not telling them 'ur password (unless the person was a hacker or expert)
- ALWAYS keep a BACK-UP of 'ur transactions.... laugh.gif
- Get as much details as U can from seller / Buyer

2. where can i find a good courier service near cyberjaya? how much is the fees for postage from cyberjaya to kuantan?
- Dunno at 'ur place...but I'm always prefer using PosLaju (Modem should be less than RM10.00)

my answers:

1.
- give the buyer your bank account details (account number together with your full name as stated in your bank account)
- tell the buyer to include the screenshot of the payment (interbank/via Cash deposit machine/counter), then check your account to verify that you receive the payment
- also ask the buyer to include his/her name, mailing address and phone number.

2. - you can use poslaju (most cheaper yet reliable option), but make sure you pack the item nicely (using sugar/brown colored paper) so the poslaju staff won't know what's inside the package smile.gif

hope it helps
