To those are queuing already, are you gonna use the queue number when you purchase your phone or its just for the pre-launch event seat?

If I reach around 11pm which is behind, lets say 700 person, does it mean that I'll be behind 700 persons to purchase the phone?

I heard there are shot 15000 units. Not sure how true.
Apparently you can buy it outright (just the phone) from today without needing to buy contract. Not sure until we get to the counter. I asked one of the staff who was filling an iPhone confirmation slip(at the queue), she said you might have trouble if owner of the number isn't here cos that person needs to sign the contract.

15,000 is the number of iPhones Maxis brought in for this batch, not just for this midnight launch.

FINALLY, I got my iPhone 4. LOVIN' IT!

Seriously, I hate it when Maxis system was soooooo slow and especially when I saw those people showing credit cards without knowing their limit, changing plans in the last minute, adding another iPhone add the last second, and SOME who don't even know that iPhone uses a micro sim. I even spotted people sitting there for half an hour, asking about the plans and all. Stupid. Can't they just do some thinking and research before queuing? Speechless. I queued from 11pm-4am to get my previous baby. What the hell. This is the craziest thing I've ever done in my life.

Anyway, I get to try almost everything on my phone, everything was fine and the performances are expected. But I'm really surprised that the speaker volume is that loud and clear. Woots!

Not all 60 counters were opened this morning.. Thats why it become slow...

For yesterday's case, most counters were opened but some were in charge of micro-sim cutting & activation, some were in charge of new micro-sim replacement. Sigh. So misleading right.
