I was supposed to pick-my phone on 24 September from 1200 am - 0400 am but I had to cancel the appointment because of work reason. I called-up Customer Service and requested to pick-up the phone at KLCC Maxis Centre on 26 September. The Customer Service girl said she will inform the KLCC Maxis Centre to reserve one phone for me.

Question is what time should I be at KLCC so that I do not have to wait the entire day for my iPhone knowing that 26 September is the first day the phone will be available for public ? I was thinking of being at KLCC by 07 am. Is that already too late ?

Appreciate advice from our forumers

The number from Maxis was +603 9543 6140 for me. They called me once but I was in a meeting so did not picked up and 45 minutes later they called again informing me that I could either proceed to The Gardens now or can shift the event to Sunday 4-8pm at KLCC to pick up my phone. My original booking was on today 6-10pm. Pretty efficient if you ask me at least they took the initiative to call and hopefully things won't get worst on Sunday.

Just be early as you can considering the fact that even with bookings, maxis can't handle the crowd efficiently. Hell break loose on Sunday

What is the number now? 4xxx not

What about 3xxx numbers?

As at 9.05 pm, they are serving number 3694.

My number is 43**. I was there at 7pm. The guy said to come back in 5-6 hours! Then AFTER i got my number, suddenly Maxis call to "tell" me that I should go back on Sunday - and that i can do my pick up at KLCC ! I said "i'll just try now since im here".

Lol.. But i went home.. i'll go again at midnight.

Does anyone know what time it closes?

Is the problem because too many people booked or are outsiders allowed in? Its really really really really packed i kid you not !

I overheard a maxis employee explaining to an annoyed customer that she can still use today's Q number and come back early tomorrow morning and wait.

3701 now? It was 3470 at 6pm, so 3 hours 20 minutes only 231 persons are called. My sister
number is 42xx, so maybe have to go to garden at 2.30-3.30am

That im not sure. im wondering how they choose numbers. random?? imagine having to call EVERYONE who made bookings..
