Plasma is dead, I think?, worth to repair or just throw it away?

guys, my plasma recently decided not to switch on anymore. when i press on, i heard the "d'ng" but screen is black without any respond after that. Just wondering issit worth to repair it or its a waste of time and money? if yes? any recommendation where about I can fix a plasma?

What brand of plasma? How old is the plasma? Probably no warranty. Like neb says. Get a quote from the manufacturer to see how much it'll cost you to fix.

manufacturer no longer exist. its NEC.. it is like 7 years back. lol but the design still very modern and display is crispy.
so confused on what to do.

can try to ask your local electrical store to recommend a repair shop, but be prepare to get slaughter plasma TV price is so cheap now, just buy a brand new one

get a quote first...if it's just a few hundred, probably still worth saving...coz it might just be some witching issue and there's a cheap fix

sound like the power board problem
New board maybe cost you around 600 - 1k.
If can find 2nd hand/IC replacement, maybe around 400.

instead of throwing it away (which is not so green)..why not give me the TV and i'll get it fix? if the cost is 1k then at least for 1k i can get a 50" plasma TV...if cost too expensive to repair then i'll help you throw away..how??? do we have a deal?
