but it was recommended to use with 50 series tyres that still can absorb some holes .
get ready with at least 4k for good quality japanese light weight rims

if u worried about fuel consumption and performance , then go for 16 " .
just remember , we can't expect good performance from 1.6 liter . why mazda limit only up to 180 for 1.6? |

I cannot start my car after 5 days i leave it under porch. Since my car only 16 months old , I quite shocked when found that my car battery almost kong..
Checked the battery fluid level and it almost empty ...top up then jump start the car. For all of M3 owner, please check ur battery fluid regularly . I just serviced my car couple weeks before! From my fast experience , normal battery can last at least 24 months , Mazda 3 1.6 using NS40 and it quite small compare to the the housing that can fit in NS60 This post has been edited by gahpadu: Dec 15 2010, 01:44 AM |

my previous car battery last for 2.5 yrs (normal one) ...SC always check /top up battery fluid every times i sent for service.
If the SC check up my battery level during last service , i think the result wont be like this. battery only covered up to 12 months , may be that why they dont check it on my last visit to SC great lesson for me This post has been edited by gahpadu: Dec 15 2010, 11:13 AM |

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Dec 15 2010, 05:42 PM) IMHO :Most probably they didn't check the battery fluid level , otherwise , how come it far below low level . Most of the time I serviced my car at Jalan Ampang , so better save than sorry . |

QUOTE(ricolim @ Jan 7 2011, 11:54 AM) I just installed the K&N Drop In Air Filter in my Mazda3 1.6. Good info bro... I'm also looking for K&N air filter for my 1.6 .awaiting for my part from group buy from mazda club.Been test drive last night and this morning, I'm feel pick up of the car is slightly smoother than before. Also, Car feel slightly responsive after 4000rpm when I am trying over-taking other cars. Overall, I'm think the K&N Drop In Filter did improve performance of my car.. |

QUOTE(ricolim @ Jan 7 2011, 02:20 PM) RM280. Bought from a Authorized KL K&N Shop through Internet. garage sale - rm250 for mazda 3 1.6 . seller said it original oneI installed the K&N filter by myself. It is easy. Just take out the stock air-filter and put in the K&N Drop In Filter. But it took me a while to close the air-filter box because the K&N drop in filter is slightly thicker than stock air-filter. Really need some force to close the box. Added on January 7, 2011, 2:35 pm I see. I saw a group buy K&N Drop in Filter topic from Mazda Club. The sellers sale RM270 for Mazda3 1.6. Just made sure you receive correct K&N Air-Filter. The part-number of K&N Drop in filter for Mazda3 1.6 is: 33-2924 & MAzda3 2.0 is: 33-2293. |

QUOTE(effie_woo @ Jan 23 2011, 12:17 AM) Thanks gahpadu, sent my 2.0 for the 1st 1k service, they fixed the problem already. Apparently the electrical wire connection is loose and that is why i cant adjust my side mirror left - right and sometimes cant unfold my side mirror. So be careful when send your cars for tinting especially when they took out the internal part of the door to install the tint. u can wind up the window by pressing unluck button / wind up ( lock button ) - press it for 3 seconds. Is it ok to send my car for 1st service after 1400 km? Should be no issues right? For 1st 1k service they only changed engine oil and oil filter? I read from mazda club forum that you can wind up (lower the window) the car by pressing and holding the lock button on the remote, is this true? Tried but nothing happened. Is this feature for M3? Anyone tried before? There's no issue highlight by SC even I serviced my car after 1k+km for every interval service. U got the service schedule complete with pricing ? |
