1.6 HB CBU doesn't come with side skirting too. it's weird, i know, because 1.6 sedan CBU comes with skirting.

by the time it reaches boleh-land, it would be 2013.....

agree. if the car is still cbu, then there's hope to see it in malaysia in 2012. but since the ckd program just started i don't think the fl version will reach our shores so soon, maybe it won't be here at all.

read so many bad after sales service from bermaz, but my experience with them is mostly pleasant.

sent in my car for 10k service yesterday and there was this malay uncle that was very helpful. pjsc was not packed when i reached there at 11 plus in the morning. i approached this lady sitting @ the counter doing nothing and yet she insisted me to grab a number to wait for my turn, so i did. after that i literally sat there for 10-15 mins while she continued doing her own things and this was where the friendly uncle came in. he approached me, settled the paperwork and he asked whether i had any complaints on my car. so i said the infamous steering rack problem and pedal vibration havent popped out yet and he insisted those are isolated problems. supposed to have my car alignment checked and wheel swapping, but he suggested i do outside to avoid gs cut throat price and he mentioned sometimes he didnt think gs really do their work properly.

everything was done in 3 hours plus and he did called me to inform me that my car is ready to pick up as promised. dashboard rattling sound is gone as they have tightened it up and had my brake bleeding done, but brake bleeding in a 7 month old car? is it normal? all in all, thumbs up for that uncle, too bad i forgot his name.

That's the main reason I bought TDCi as well, within my budget + good FC compared to other cars.. not to mention the sublime handling, i believe mazda and ford focus is sharing the same chassis, volvo has different tuning to its chasis if i am not mistaken.
*
among the ford focus, mazda3 and volvo s40, the floorpan is different, but the front- and rear-subframes, suspension, steering, braking, safety, and electrical components are shared. All three cars share about 60 percent of their parts and components. however the 2011 ford focus will be using an updated c1 platform, whereas the 2010 mazda3 is still using the old c1 platform.

hey guys, i'm experiencing slight steering vibration when cruising on high speed after tyre rotation was done. did they officially screw up my alignment? if yes, should i send back to sc or just get it fix at a reputable tyre shop?

thanks.

If SC screwed up your alignment (actually, it's balancing and not alignment), better to get the SC to do it again because it will be free since they did a lousy job in the first place. Going to outside tyre shop will end up paying another RM 90 more.
Glenmarie has it.
*
sweet. then i will just send to glenmarie. actually i did it outside as gahpadu pointed out pjsc didn't have the equipment for it. yeh, i think the correct term is balancing as i can feel the car is floaty as well at high speed.

last year , i went to glenmarie for 10k regular service + tire rotation. They sent my car to tire shop. I think those workshop doing a really good job , coz my car clocked 48k now and the tire/alignment run smoothly
*
it's really hard to find a workshop that do balancing properly. my previous myvi was plagued with so much problems related to this.
