2.0 metalic reporting in..

wanted to ask anyone fix auto-lock for your m3 yet?
wanna check on pricing from GS.. if any of you have fixed it..
they should incorporated auto-lock for msia market.. cuz the security not as good as other countries!

prefer after ignition, autolock trigger when brake pressed..
and auto-unlock when gear change back to 'P'..
do they have this type of configuration?

i also feel tyre noise a bit loud. and bumpy when travel from melaka back to KL.. guess the soft profile tyre's cons.. but very responsive handling.. like it.

FC full tank ron95 gives around 450-500km. sometimes can get slightly over 500km.

i wanna complain of the small 45litre fuel tank tho 4... for ppl travelling its quite a hassle having the need to pump petrol quite often.. lol

cheers
*
Auto Brake Trigger Lock from GS is RM380.00 with installation. Warranty won't void (PM me for Special Price for LYN members)

The Mazda 3 2.0L Petrol Tank Capacity is at 55L not 45L.

Delvin, wat u means of ONLY FOR BATCH BEFORE AUGUST 2010? After the August 2010 batch will no longer have the auto wind down function using the remote?

That means batches that we import in after August 2010 don't have the function anymore.

When my fren booking the M3 2.0, they said when servicing, they will use Fully Syn, and do servicing every 10K
*
All our Service Center and Authorized Service Dealer use the standard Shell Semi Syn for the free service package.
well, if they are using Fully Syn..make sure check whether r they the authorized dealers and what brand of engine oil they use.

Fully Syn Engine oil pricing in market range from 70++ to 200++.
And make sure the viscosity is the right one for the car..

HX 7 is semi-syn (10w-40). If u wan them to change to fully syn, have to top up abt RM140, they will put in Helix Ultra, which is fully syn (5w-40). I've not tried the Helix Ultra, as I was thinking 10w-40 and 5w-40 is the same viscosity (40) when warmed up. If I were to use a fully syn, I will like to use 5w-20 or 5w-30. Currently I service every 7000-8000km, to play on the safe side.

Delvin, can we bring our own unopened engine oil to do service?
*

i doubt so coz also got customer requesting for it. they say they got lobang to get cheaper...but our company reject it coz they say what happen if the engine oil they bring is fake or recycle. warranty will be void if use other engine oil other than bermaz supply.

IMO, do it after the warranty period

WTF!!! they using semi-syn !!! this is not good for de engine..!!!
use semi but service 10k kanasai gonna f*** them during my next service
*
there always a reason to this..i can say it's not due to financial..
i'm not very well educate on this engine oil issue but Shell Malaysia do give us a rough brief on the difference.
maybe when u dropby PJSC, i can recommend u the PIC, he can explain better to u.

at first, i also thought WTF..only give semi syn to customer but after listening to the shell briefing then i know the facts.
for those that still prefer fully to semi, u can always request for it n top up the difference.

i believe most brands in malaysia also use semi syn for the free service package.. hmm.gif

It's very useful when changing lanes. U juz push the signal a little bit, the signal light will blink 3 times and then stop. So when changing lanes, u dun have to either hold the signal without it clicking, or push it up or down till it clicks, then after changed lane, have to undo it. It's in the manual, under customize ur car.

okie.. i will check with our product trainer.
sorry ya cant't ans u now coz 1st time got this kinda enquiry..

Mazda cars are more meant for driver..it's a driver car more to a passenger cars. We mostly emphasis on the comfort of the driver and overall safety.
We do admit that our car legroom n interior space is usually smaller than our japanese counterparts but what we offer in return u don't get in other brands.

well! it's true.. Bermaz currently only allow those who book the MPS to test drive it.
Why? Coz the MPS volume is limited n we only have an unit for test drive purpose...if really something happen to the car just like the previous RX8, those potential buyers won't get to test it even they had book the car..

Added on March 26, 2011, 12:36 amu book the MPS n test drive it later at an appointment date..if u r not satisfy with the car..bermaz will fully refund to u. u won't lose anything

Delvin, weird also if book ady chances are you already test drove, or dont mind not to test drive. Test drive should cater for those who are not sure to buy or not.

For example, myself i want to buy, im not really looking for a test drive. I just want to get the price that I want.
*
well, this is only applicable to the MPS. Mazda Japan only give us limited units of MPS per year so chances of opening an unit of test drive for every showroom is impossible. that's why our booking usually are fully refundable if u r not satisfy after TD. every brand got different ways of marketing...some may like it some may not. of coz for us, it will be nice if we have all the cars for TD. it will make our work easier n closing of sales is higher.

as a consumer, getting the best price is important...but there are many other factors too which u might wanna consider

Well Delvin dont mind me (I know you are a good SA, most of Mazda's SA are really good ...)  but isnt that putting the cart before the horse. How do you expect someone to commit to buy a car when they cant get to test drive it? I mean if I pay 3k deposit if I test drive dont like ..got refund bo?

Its kinda of kiasu mentality lo...I mean if you going to lunch a car, then the only way to know if the car is as good as the reviews is to test drive it. If I book without testing it, then why I want to test drive it later? I am going to drive the car sooner or later wat.

This is bad marketing stategy lo. As much as I have beef with VW, I think VW allows anyone..(i mean anyone with a valid licence to test any car) and the rocco sports is no exception. Feel bad for those who wants to by the MPS.
*
tq for the compliments! smile.gif

booking the car before the test drive show that u r a real potential owner..this is the way to let us know that u r a sincere buyer n we without any obligation allow u to test drive it to the max. if we allow public test drive on the MPS, i n most of us believe that the car will be trashed in no time.. because we only have limited stocks on the MPS, we have to take extra care on the only unit. even for us sales executive don't really to get to drive it...except me.. brows.gif brows.gif

so based on what most of the forumer here mentioned, i need to pay 3k to test drive it?
is the refund immediate or i need to wait 30 days?
hmm...

VW let me test drive the GTi a few times and mind u, the test drive route is quite long actually... all this without taking a booking fee and the GTi is more expensive then the MPS...

my decision is currently swayed to the MPS due to its fully manual transmission... but i need to know the feeling of the car handling as  compared to golf GTi..

so what some of the forumer say is quite obvious which is to have 1 or 2 MPS test drive car for the major branch or u can rotate the single test drive MPS among all the branches...

cheers..
*
refund usually take about 2wks. no need 3k.. 1k for booking will do. if u guys trust me n r really interested in the MPS, u can book the car n i will try arrange for a long test drive with nice straights n bends. GTI is consider 1 of VW volume seller n yes the price is more expensive than ours. but that doesn't mean being cheaper will get more cars. Mazda Japan only will supply us a limited units per yr based on the agreement.

if wanna view all the colors, my showroom currently have it but for public test drive...will be quite difficult at the moment but i hope bermaz will open 1 or 2 more units in future...

booking the car = real potential owner?
this is very "dangerous" aint it?

bermaz can always tighten the rules with regards to the MPS test drive car what..
after all, the indemnity/test drive form is there for a reason..

i am sure bermaz can come up with something for this....
*
this is my company policy...
me as a sales executive can only give comments and feedbacks..

we fight so hard to get the MPS for test drive as u guys know that Bermaz don't allow it in the 1st place.
well, hopefully in time to come..there will be a test drive unit in the major showroom.

just keep my finger cross... icon_rolleyes.gif

which showroom are u in?

glenmarie or lot 9 ?

not to say that cheaper will get more car but because the MPS is quite new actually to this market...
not many knows about it...
so test drives is one of the ways to get the word out...

why there is hardly or no test drive for the FD2-R?
because honda already well known here.... so the brand speaks for itself...

i always believe that test driving will convince the customer better as this time its the product that speaks for itself instead of the usual salesman talk..
true there might be a danger where the product fail to perform to expectation during test drive, but this is the risk that the seller need to take...

as for me, i want to compare the acceleration, steering feedback, handling, braking of the MPS vs the GTi...
so that it will be easier to make a decision instead of basing it completely on salesman talk...

thats all...
my 2 sen..
*
lot 9.
sales executive nowadays r not really part of the convincing factor when coming to get a car..
as u know, internet is so powerful now.. when u r about to buy a car..u will search for info, specs and comments online.
just by googling MPS vs GTI, u will get youtube videos, feedbacks from famous auto magazine or talkshow.

i do agree that test drive is important. but we can't do anything right now.
if anyone of u is really interested in test driving the MPS, pls do call me or pm me. i will try arrange a test drive for u after i nego with my senior sales manager.

if he approve, then we r ready to go.

lot 9?
good... i visit there quite often for maintenance purposes...
tongue.gif

i do lookup on internet and all but nothing beats the pure feel of the car under your very own control....
as having it under your own control speaks alot...

u know la.. internet comments... are mostly <xxxxxx>... just have a look at LYN itself and u will get what i meant...

so do update us here about the test drive..

btw the lot 9 show room has a MPS right?
*
we sold the most MPS in Msia n we have all the colors currently.
the blue look gorgeous....

i will talk to my manager on the test drive on the MPS.

Part of what u said is true. But it is with the SA's service that will nail the deal.  At least my MAzda SA is honest, knowledgeable and went out for me. I did not ask for any discount because hey they need to make a living as well. That is why I say Mazda's SA is pretty good. In contrast, My VW SA is totally blur sotong, gave me discount but I had so much trouble getting my car. Even after taking my car... no follow ups. So, I am swearing off VW due to this. Just too bad the missus liked the Golf so much I had to get it, otherwise...ptuii..

haha! biggrin.gif there always good sheep n bad wolf in every company.
just ur luck to meet a wolf...
some customer take us as sheep n some take us as wolf... it's the click n connection that make the deal smooth n pleasant
