Hi there, I am getting sick with current SMS built in applications for my HTC HERO. Is there any good SMS application I can download? Tried out handcent but I didn't like it. Thanks!

You storing too many messages? I experience super lag when deleting over 2k worth of messages... so its a good thing to have automated message delete software or delete them yourself every week or so...

I use default SMS application. Does the job for me. But I highly recommend Handcent. Have used it before, the best SMS app

yes you can. just remove the app from /system/app folder. of course you have to have root.
i still prefer chomp over handcent. |
