hi all, i got audio question to ask. i got altec lansing 2.1 speaker and lcd monitor with audio in & out . supported hdmi too. speaker only have 1 audio hole and i plug in the other end to my lcd monitor audio in or out also no sound from speaker. anyone can guide me ?

check setting audio at ps3 or monitor? i using monitor 24" viewsonic vx2433wm. i set my ps3 sound to hdmi but sound out from monitor. i want sound out from my speaker. pls refer my picture

yes, in ps3..audio output setting..set to hdmi. it should have sound out from ur tv. if still no sound, try check ur tv setting and adjust any setting if need. afterthat should be ok and sound from ur tv

1) what is the correct way to turn off the console? power button or in xmb?
2) what is the maximum hours turn ps3 on or play games? not until console temperature hot or hardware burn

just now my 2 game saves have problem after 2 days i didn't play that 2 games. before this my ps3 keep hang/freeze in xmb or loading games. i suspects my ps3 hard drive problem but i can't confirm because it's still working

my games save always spoil/corrupted after 1-2 or few days and i need delete old games save then i need replay games start from beginning. it's already few times and i getting fed up. i really want to test is it hdd problem. downloading demo game fron psn to test my hdd. 1gb demo. need to wait.................

i already tried download a game demo and that demo game everythings seems ok but it still sometimes hang in xmb or loading game time. save game data may corrupted again. i really want to know is it hdd problem. if yes then i will buy and change. most game shop need left ps3 1-2 weeks for check/repair. i 1 day didn't play ps3 also like half dead

i planning upgrade my fat ps3 to slim. i want ask if i backup save games in my old fat ps3, will i able to use/play it after restore backup in new slim ps3 ?

mind to explain more detail on that ? is it just save data on thumb drive and copy to new ps3 ?

i tried backup and restore. after restore my games save not useable. that means even i backup on my old fat ps3 and restore on new slim ps3 ..game save also not useable

backup utility. i didn't deactivate my old psn accounts on old ps3. i just format it. is it need deactive my psn account on old fat ps3 1st then i only can use my save games on new slim ps3 ? hehe
