I recently bought a PS3 bundled with NBA2K11 game. I’m using a fullHD monitor, Samsung BX2450, as I can use it for my PC and PS3 at the same time, as it has 2 hdmi port.

I run display tests for at the Display Setting, my monitor works fine, and the XMB is using 1080p resolution.

However, when I run NBA2K11, the game will starts at 720 resolution. I change on the display settings, deselect 720, and when the game started, it’s at 1080, it still looks pixelated.

I tried RDR as well, things looks pixelated, but the game max at 720.

Is this due to the game limitation or something wrong either with my monitor or console? I’ve reset the PS3 to detect the resolution, and tried 2 HDMI cables. Anyone had similar issue before?

so yours looks pixelated as well? but NBA2K11 on the game box written it can go up to 1080p, but it doesn't when i start it.

i notice you have RDR, so it is pixelated on monitor, since it's up to 720p only. i started playing RDR, and it's so pixelated. in my mind, it should have been as sharp as GTAIV I've played on PC.
