I think got , some was said to be not compatible for PS3 .. Either cannot display or the display keep blinking LOL !!

Well even if it's usable now maybe Sony will put another firmware to block any other HDMI signal and u will only use PS3 on a Sony Bravia, just like how they force u to use only dualshock 3 with the latest firmware

If i bought PS3, once i reached home, i believed i have to update to the newest firmware by myself instead of doing it at Sony branch (where i purchased)? Or perhaps i can ask them to update for me on the spot, then for future updates i will do it myself.

about the lcd that ps3 cant use, i think i got 1. HP LP2465. coz i using it now. only show blank screen even it said the dvi port is active.

DVDs and Blu Rays use different regions.

so we(asian PS3s) can play American imported Blu Rays,which are Region A.
but we cant play american imported DVDs,which are region 1 (when we're region 3)

so if you buy a Blu Ray combo pack that comes with 1)blu ray movie 2)dvd movie 3)digital copy
you cant use the dvd on the ps3

Things to watch out for:

* an overall poor build quality. This was the first thing I noticed. It was either that Sony had let their quality control go or this was a relatively good fake.
* rough edges on the joins of the controller shell. Run your finger over them comparing it to the smooth real ones.
* raised rectangle area where the controller number LEDs are contained. The gap between the LEDs and the controller is also approximately double.
* hard to press L3 and R3 when at full extension.
* dual shock joysticks are stiffer.
* button labels outlines are noticeably thicker (such as on X, O, etc) and on close inspection, quite average quality.
* buttons are also taller, the Playstation button especially sticks out a lot. If you run your finger over real one it feels like a smooth bump, while the fake juts out.
* printed labels like ‘Sony’ and ‘Dual Shock 3’ are slightly off colour and not in the correct position.
* if you shake the controller you can hear the parts ‘ticking’ around inside.
* you can feel a screw underneath the real label. It’s approximately in the bottom centre.

what i can confirm is that there is no screw underneath the real label but there is a ticking sound when i shake my controller.so is it ori or not?does all ori controller doesnt produce the ticking sound when we shake it?

When i bought mine , its not sealed also . Just need to take out from the box only =.= ! But i think the seller also wan to look inside la whether the condition is Okay or not .. Especially those from Singapore ..

the ds3 was inside the sealed ps3 box and the controller itself wrapped in plastic bag.

is there any picture to see how the seal looks like?   

the sticker/seal thing can be easily forged and pasted again using duplicated copies, isn't it still won't solve the problem -.-?

i used the extra space in my ps3 to watch anime on the big screen.. huhuhu
