Guys! Anyone has experience dealing with their local Sony Centre? I am planning to get a PS3 set but I have yet to make my mind on whether to get a MY or a SG set. I read a lot of comment regarding the good services provided by SG Sony Centre but i have yet to read any positive comment regarding our local MY Sony Centre.

Some feedback on this will be much appreciated. biggrin.gif

Thank you.

Common sense dictates that if you live in Malaysia, you should buy things in Malaysia to get the local warranty. Unless you have a private jet to fly to Singapore, then by all means go buy there.

Thanks for the input but i think you didnt get my question. I am talking about the quality of the service provided by Sony Centre from MY and SG. I am not asking about the hassle of sending the unit to SG compare to sending it to the nearest local Sony Centre. I dont mind paying extra to have the unit send to SG if it only took a few days to get it fixed while I might have to wait for months to have it fixed here even though the Sony Centre is just across the street. tongue.gif

As far as i am concerned, the local Sony Centre here in my area doesnt fix all the faulty unit or not capable of fixing the faulty unit. The Centre only works as a collection point where they are going to send it to some other location for repair.

Guys i need help with my PS3. I am using a DELL 24" monitor as display for my PS3 (connected using HDMI cable). It was all fine a while ago but now i cant get the monitor to display anything from the PS3. So what seems to be the problem? The PS3 is running fine since i can still hear it in the audio and I am using the same monitor while typing this.

Any help will be appreciated. biggrin.gif

I found the solution to my problem. Just unplug all the power cable from both the monitor and PS3 and restart the whole system after a few minutes. I guess this has something to do with the monitor not recognizing the HDMI input.
