Does anyone know how much roughly for a Home Theater in a Box (HTiB) to cost? Cause my problem is that I'm using HDMI cable and PC monitor which has no sound. I didn't want to use the white and red cable and I'm using Altec Lansing ATP3.

Edit: If let say I'm using HDMI cable to project image, if I use White and Red cable to get sound, will it have any effect problem like overlapping stuff or so on?

Your ATP3 is connected to which device? Your PC?

Ps3 is output hdmi to PC monitor?

Yes connected to my PC. Yes. PS3 -> HDMI DVI converter[HDMI (1.3) -> DVI (24.1)] -> Monitor

ok... just like your setup, my ps3 is output audio to my PC sound card audio input (using optical or multi-av)

that way i can have both pc and ps3 sounds

actually i have two lcd monitors (one for PC and the other for ps3)

I don't quite understand. Are you using PC as bridge for your sound. I'm planning to buy the splitter so that I can use my speaker with my PS3 and PC without plug it in and out.

What it means is that you use the PC as the source (bridge) for the audio.
PS3 connects to the PC, audio input.
PC audio outputs to the speakers.

This meaning that you can play music and play your games along as the audio outputs from the PC, not from the PS3.

And in this case, you don't have to disconnect and reconnect your audio cables everytime you want to play.
Just leave it there.

Okay that's much more easy. Where can I get those cables and what cables do I need? Got any references for me to see? hmm.gif Cause I scared I buy wrongly. :S

So I'm going to need the white and red cable right? What I'm worrying is that the cable might be pulling down the graphics since I already using HDMI to my monitor. :/
