why bro wanna send to service IF ur console has no issues?

Actually I suspect d drive hav problem...For example, my game disc Red Dead Redemption and Sports Champion, both disc hav tiny cracked around inner edge, the center hole, after few gameplay...RDR cracked within day, after replacement same thing happen oso, sports champion(brand new) oso cracked after putting d disc inside d drive...dunno u guys hav dis problem with the disc or not, maybe i"m too sensitive...

how did u take out/insert back the game disc into the casing?

For ur info, after i bought d game and took d game disc out of d casing, i nvr put them back, i put the disc into those 20sen plastic disc bag...so can't be putting the disc back in the casing that cause the problem...

most probably thats the cause of ur cd cracked/scratched ..take care well bro..

happened to me too few yrs back with kz2 r3... cracked almost 1cm .. unplayable..

currently so far all of my ps3 game disc are in good condition... i've checked everytime i eject/put the disc inside ps3

how come blu-ray discs are so sensitive....

need some help here, i'm trying to backup my ps3 using backup utility,

my 80gb hdd is fat32, but after i plugged it into ps3.
it detect only 20gb.

is it sth wrong with my ps3 setting or my hdd got problem?

what's ur lcd monitor model? does it support hdcp?

DELL 22' monitor.. can support HDCP.. my speaker is sonicgear 2.1 normal speaker..

what's the max resolution? got dvi input rite?

anyway once u get the ps3, make sure u buy hdmi to dvi cable

then you can use multi-av cable (red and white cable) to your sonicgear speaker, make sure you get a splitter cable/adapter (see page 1, 2nd post).

previously i forgot wat software i used to format it to fat32.

now the ps3 is able to detect but it ended up only 20gb....and back up utility need 27gb >"<

but when i plug it back to pc, it detect all the hdd space.

I formated my external with swiss knife sotware no prob so far.

i think u need to reformat the hdd again.... if your PC is winxp, then use swissknife, if vista/w7, guiformat

only two things you need to buy: hdmi to dvi cable and splitter cable (both are not that expensive)

multi-av cable is bundled with ps3 console...
