When I use PS3 media server to watch HD vid,it lags some time...could t be my modem prob?

do we need to manually update it or it will update itself?

anyone here bought ps3 at sony style? last time i bought ps3, need to buy at least 1 game. i can't buy the console only, MUST buy the game.

my question is, i'm going to buy ps3 at sony style, is it still same like last time? need to buy game to get a console?

and why if downloads using ps3 always failed?

if you want sony malaysia warranty, you have to buy the console with one game. that rule has been there since ps3 was launched locally on sept 2009. if you don't like it, you can go buy from ah long game shop and end up with no warranty, fake controller and second hand console repackaged as "new"..

guys i got a prob ! I was playin ps3 on lcd tv so that one uses hdmi so i change to hdmi for audio and video . Now i m connected to hdmi - dvi for video and the audio connector for audio . then my monitor receives no video signal .. I resettd a couple of times when i have the signal , can see xmb menu , i changed my audio option to audio input connector and the display goes away again . receive no signal . ANyone experience before ? or else i got to play ps3 without audio which sucks . I dun even know what happened ..

i guess panasonic TH42PX80 plasma is not full HD... lolz

Your TV does not have an upscale feature, that means the game will be forced to play in 480p/576p.
At 480p, your TV will upsclae to its native 1024x768, games will look blur.

Disable 1080p and just use 720p.
Because that plasma was one of the earlier generations of plasma TVs, 2nd generation infact...
Most plasmas back then (year 2001-2003) only has a max resolution of 1024x768, some were still 800x450 actually.

hi guys.. in need of help here... trying to connect my ps3 slim to my monitor...
Acer p225hq... i tried following a vid on youtube but it doesnt help..
i have all the cables needed... just that when i turn on my ps3... it doesnt go into a blank screen... its a hazy yellow thing.. which i am not certain myself what to call it LOL =,=" anyway... any suggestions? the monitor is an acer p225hq... thanks

guys izzit true that the Malaysia PS3 set warranty no longer cover once u update the firmware?cuz i went to KLCC just now,want to buy ps3 from sony style but it was closed CNY,so went to ask the shop next to it,forgot the shop name,asked the promoter there and he suggest better take SG set as it is cheaper and told me about that MY set warranty,well? cuz if it's true then i wont bother pay more for MY set as Sony usually comes out with new firmware update like in every month or two
