I am not sure wat cable to get.PPZ advice me take Y-spliter and HDMI to DVI cables.

Currently,my HDMI cable is connected to my rig,so how?
*
A HDMI cable is both audio and video. A DVI cable is for video only. So common sense u need to have a separate audio cable if u use a DVI cable. In my opinion better use the HDMI port. Less wire hassle. If your monitor have only one port, then i suggest u buy a HDMI switcher. So u can switch which input you want. The PC or PS3.

how about me? can i get a HDMI switcher also?? but my monitor don have HDMI only DVI. sad.gif
*
The HDMI switcher is to switch between HDMI input. Your monitor only support DVI. So U have to buy the HDMI-DVI cable and separate audio system.

External 2.1 Sonic Gear Tatoo Series 3 speakers. How do i connect my speakers?HDMI switcher connects both my Ps3 and Rig to my monitor, but my monitor no sounds right?
*
Does your monitor have inbuilt speaker? If yes, the sound will come out from monitor speakers. Because a HDMI = Video+Audio. If you want to use your Sonic gear, then you should use the 'audio out' behind your monitor, plug it to a audio switcher so you can choose audio from your PC or PS3, then plug into your speaker input.

Really? hmm.gif
I tot my monitor doesnt has any build in speakers hmm.gif

Apparently u have this..

Video Signal Analog RGB, DVI
Connector DVI-I, HDMI, Audio Out

So.. if my theory are correct, the audio signal from the HDMI cable stops there. So buy a audio cable, and jack it into your input speaker.

Behind the LCD is a 3.5mm jack. Its for audio cable. The jack looks like your normal earphone jack. Maybe your speaker has the red and white connection is it?

There this cable im not sure what its called, convert your red and white to a 3.5mm audio jack. Most audio shop sells it. Heck, even my sonic gear has it for free.

Either i find a HDMI to DVI switcher, or just buy the HDMI to DVI cable and use with the Switcher.
