Guys I am wondering if any of you know what my problem is.

~ My PS3 Key tone sometimes loud sometimes low when I do choosing options on XMB menu.

My connection is > PS3 HDMI > HDMI TV > Audio Output > Speaker

I am wondering the reason is it because the HDMI Cable? or The TV sound output that produce that unstable key tone?

I appreciate your help.

with that setting you actually have 2 sound setting to adjust.1 is your tv and 1 is your speaker.your speaker loudness depend on your tv loudness.
you can check by listening to tv sound only to determent the cause if it hdmi fault.you also check your tv sound output setting.some tv have fixed or variable sound output.from there did you use any Y-splitter from your tv audio out to your speaker.

I use Y-splitter and everything so both my PS3 and Laptop Sound can be connected into my audio system. and I have solved the problem already. I tried to re-plug the cable and reset up all the cable component. now it works clear and loud.

go to safe mode and rebuild the database. that should fix the problem.

reformat the HDD only as a last resort.

im still confuse about the transfer data from old to new console here rclxub.gif

let say i have 3 acc on my xmb...
1 is my main psn, 1 is from my other region acc (US psn), and the last one is from a sharing psn acc...

if i transfer my data from my old console to the new one, are those acc that i mention above moved to the new console? same goes with my gamedata/savefile/vids/pictures/dlc/pshomedata?

nwk say cant, meaning i have to deactivate my acc on my old console and activate on the new console...so that every dlc/psn/demo games that i owned can be used on the new console.

munzamir say all will be transfered. meaning i dont have to do anything?

Emm... actually, you can.
I just did it couple days ago for a friend.

And I did it for my own slim PS3 as well.

Just de-activate all the accounts on your phat PS3 first.
ONLY then you start transfering.

If the accounts on your PS3s aren't shared accounts, it is up to you if you want to de-activate them or not.

After transfering them to the slim, go into each account individually and re-activate them.

That's basically all you need to do.
If you get an error code when transferring, try deleting all your game data (NOT SAVE DATA) then transfer over.

deactivate all psn accounts 1st on old ps3.

then it transfers everything, old ps3 > new ps3. Just that on new ps3, re-activate all the psn accounts.
