Waranty dah tak de sebab aku dah buka untuk tukar bateri...ya, kesilapan saya. Rasanya kipas tu masih idup sebab aku masih bole rasa tiupan angin dari dalam ps3 tu....

cube la cuci kipas nga heatsink tu..mungkin ade habuk..kalau berani bukak sink tu, baik cuci dan tukar thermal paste

Buka dan cuci tu kipas rasanya bole, esok aku buat. Cuma nak ganti thermal paste aku tak pandai sangat. Rasanya thermal paste tu sama dgn apa yang biasa digunakan dalam komputer ka?

yep..same jek. kalau blh jgn la pakai cap ayam tu..carik yg elok2 sket..thermal paste tu kene cuci dulu bro baru ganti baru..cuci kat sink ngan core

EDIT : dah check kipas tu, confirm running(aku buka tu covernya dan tinguk tu kipas running) cuma tak rasa tiupan angin di sebelah belakang ps3 slim tu. Nak try tukar tu thermal paste tapi masalah satu skru tu keras sangat, tak dapat nak buka, takut loose tu skru).

where exactly do you want to plug in your headset with built in mic using Y-splitter and use it as what.

for sound or voice chat

to do both you need to find a Y-splitter for your headset to connect via usb for voice chat and av multi for sound.

So, my old fat ps3 had ylod problem and I took out my 500gb hd and then sent the ps3 to Sony who quoted some ridiculous amount for repair.

I've since bought a new slim ps3 and just now I replaced the hd and its asking for system update 3.55?

My question is, if I dl update 3.55 and put it in usb, would I be able to use my old hd on the new ps3?
