Hey guys,

I bought a new phone sometime in October in 2012. I bought a SD card shortly after. The brand is Transcend.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend this brand at all. I bought the SD card from a local shopping mall. The shop has been in the shopping mall for quite some time and the shopping mall does NOT sell fake stuff.

Apparently after less than 2 months, my SD card was no longer able to be detected by my phone.

I paid RM 100 for the sd card and when I approached my friend, he said I was scammed.

The product was a low quality "China" product and he would be extremely happy if I were to even pay RM 50 to him for the product. He works at a local IT store.

Having said that, I am really unhappy that a store that I frequent for my phone accessories would scam me that way.

So nevertheless, whatever product it is, I would suggest that you choose other brands over Transcend.

It will proof to be a futile attempt as I was in a rush at that time and I failed to obtain a receipt from them. Without evidence of purchase, there was nothing I can do. Besides, I was told by other retailers that what I got was fake so yeah. I over paid for a pirated product.
