Hi,

we know very well that every household in SG or KL has this water filter installed after the main water meter for a reason everyone knows.

But has anyone actually tried to replace the pipe that goes into the meter (under Syabas juristication)? As I'm sure that this portion of the water supply is also clogged badly..

Pls share if you have done this before? Or you know any contractor who can do this? Or, i was thinking, can we complaint to Syabas and get them to replace them for free under the 'Water Supply System Improvement' term.

Please share if you have any info..

when we did our house i got in touch with, they changed the old iron one to a black plastic one for free. after the meter is used my piping. problem is the meter though - diameter too small if you ask me this a bottle neck. they refused to change to one with fitting diameter though.

I lodged a report/complaint via email, and they replied by saying that they will send a technician over to inspect and report.. Will check with them again within 42 hours if they fail to revert...
