Is it necessary to get a screen protector for the kindle reader? I've noticed some orders with protectors and some without.

havocx,
like you said, its pretty hard getting free wifi outside malaysia. I think I'll take the risk and go ahead with the 3g version and a Kindle Lighted Leather Cover, Burnt Orange. I'll be going to HK next wednesday. I wished I had found this thread earlier and gotten one earlier but I guess I'll have to wait abit to get my hands on it and perhaps test the 3g on my next trip next month! |

Hi,
Would one be able to select wifi only and disable 3g on the kindle 3G version? Or would it automatically switch to and fro from wifi to 3g depending on availability of service? |

I received my kindle 3 today. Citylink delivered the package before noon. Thank you for sending it out so soon. Wasn't expecting it this week. What a nice surprise to receive it today. Tested out the 3g and its working fine. Thanks again. |
