when is celcom iphone coming out?? I waited so long already. Not interested in cut-throat maxis and bad-coverage digi.

Celcom FTW, rumours of the plan here.
sauce I wonder how long the contract is going to be. 2 years? 1148 Maxis and Digi will need to revise their plan soon. This post has been edited by soul2soul: Apr 21 2011, 08:00 AM |

After a second look at the offer and comparing it with other 2 telcos, celcom plan is tailored more to data, and they offer less free inter-operator call minutes (100 as compared to 333 from maxis). This is however offset by almost unlimited calls to celcom number.
The subsidy for Iphone is almost the same for these 3 telcos, they just play around with numbers to sell their product. I am speculating that celcom's offer comes with 2 years contract. This post has been edited by soul2soul: Apr 21 2011, 11:22 AM |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Apr 21 2011, 11:21 AM) If im not using maxis iphone, i would waiting for celcom. I think most people get Iphone for Data purpose. I find myself using SMS a lot less nowadays thanks to whatsapp. My call is like RM10 a month only already. A bit wasteful wit maxis, but another 2 weeks to go before my contract with maxis expires!now my usage pattern is 90% data, 10% only calling... QUOTE(doczane @ May 5 2011, 03:17 PM) Just bought a replacement for my stolen IP4 32G black from Bangsar Blue Cube, white only for invitees this week, next week open public. Took exec98 plan, RM1800+RM300 up front ( RM25 will be deducted for 1 yr for the RM300 rebate). Paid by credit card, no charge. Though you dont get any freebies, no bumpers, no screen protectors since, only for 'invitees'.. is it possible for supplementary lines of 1 +5 package to get this plan?I was principal 5+1 user, still enjoy free calls and sms between my subliners plus 6000mins inclusive and 2G data within network, 100min outside. Overall its still a good value for money plan to me since my usage was previously within the bundled range. What really bothers me about the plan is once your data usage exceed 2Gb, it automatically disable your data until the next bill is paid. Upgrading to higher package will be penalized RM500 if within the contract. |

went to celcom branch at Kuching... so quiet no queue for Iphone. Celcom there says they don't allow port in customers to take up the iphone plan.
