What are the packages that will be available on the 22nd April 2011?
The available packages are Biz Pi98, Pi148 & Pi248.


Are there any contract period and penalty breach of contract for the above plans?
Yes, the penalty breach of contract for both 12 and 24 months’ contracts is RM500

How does the upfront commitment will be segregated?
The upfront payment will be segregated into 12 months. (i.e RM25 per month for the next 12 months for
RM300 upfront)

If I’m on Biz i98 and my bill is RM110, will I get RM25 deducted from my bill?
Yes, you will only need to pay RM85 (RM110 – RM25)

If I’m on Biz i98 & my bill is RM80, will I get RM25 deducted from my bill?
Since your usage commitment is RM98 and your bill is only RM80, you will need to pay RM73 (RM98 –
RM25)

I’m an existing Celcom customer with BlackBerry contract, do I qualify for this promotion?
Yes, however customers, who are currently on an existing contract with more than 6 months to expire, must
subscribe to a new line as per the promotional packages above or pay for the contract penalty

If existing contract has not lapsed but the Customer still wishes to register for these new offerings, they will be
liable to pay the entire penalty for breach of the contract imposed on the previous subscription first, before the
customer can adopt a new package.

Coming soon, customers will less than 6 months contract balance will be able to extend their contract with the
new contract. Example 6 Months current contract balance + New contract (12 months) = 18 Months new
extended contract.


What about Prepaid to Postpaid migration (P2P)?
Sorry, we don’t allow that at the moment

Can I purchase the iPhone 4 after 22nd April 2011 and before the Retail launch?
iPhone is not available for Retail after 22nd April 2011 until it will be officially launch for the market. As for
now, customer can browse www.celcom.com.my and register online. They will be the first to know via email
on the availability date and the packages

Can the customer performs MNP during the launch?
Yes, they can. However, the approval process will be the normal MNP approval process (up to 3 working
days). After the approval is granted, customer needs to come back to the branch/outlet and pay/collect the
device accordingly

What are the terms to register the iPhone plan?
Standard terms of blacklist checking, credit, IC verification and Corporate Individual registration normal terms
apply . Up-front payment is mandatory based on the packages and device. Refer package plan table

What do customer needs to do after purchasing the iPhone?
During the launch, the iPhone will be activated by Celcom personnel immediately before handing over to the
customer. In an outlet soon, the Sales Personnel can do on behalf of customer too. In-case that the customer
insisted to do it themselves, a mini booklet of ‘How to Activate Your iPhone’ is available to be given to the
customer

Where should I send any faulty devices?
Customer can refer to any outlets which available nationwide

Can I purchase the device only without taking any plans?
No, purchase of device only is not allowed.



General Questions


For FREE on-net voice, what happened if the i exceed the limit (6,000 minutes)?
Normal call rates will apply after it reached the caps/FUP

What about if I exceeded the FREE SMS & MMS?
Normal rates will be charged accordingly. (please refer Package Offerings under ‘Rates’ column)

What about data?
The speed will be throttled as low as128kbps (best effort) after it reached the FUP of data allocated

What’s the best speed for the data?
You can enjoy up to 3.6mbps for the data speed

The rates for SMS & MMS are off-net of on-net?
Both rates are for on-net & off-net.

Is there any Easy Payment Plan (EPP) available during the launch?
Sorry, not available at the moment. It will be made available via 5 top banks soon.

For non-Malaysian, is there any extra payment they should be paying?
For non-Malaysian/foreigners, a deposit of RM500 will have to be collected upon registration.

Is Roaming (Data/Voice) activated with this package?
The normal application and activation will have to take place. Current terms & conditions apply

Which packages are eligible for the FREE Insurance?
For Insurance, all i248 packages (12 & 24 months) are eligible for the FREE Insurance. On-top of that, the
customer also will be given FREE additional 12 months extended warranty. Starts immediately after the first
12 months warranty.

Which packages are eligible for the FREE Extended Warranty (EW)?
All 24 months contract plan is eligible for the FREE EW (i98, i148 and i248).

Why only customers with 24 months contract are eligible for the FREE Extended Warranty (EW)?
This is to ensure customers with 24 months can have peace of mind since the normal warranty is only
covered for one (1) year. The Extended Warranty starts immediately after the normal warranty expired.

How do we know that the customer is covered by Insurance & EW?
All the above mentioned eligible customers will be receiving a certificate for Insurance and a SMS notification
for the EW. All of the numbers will be tagged in the system too.

How to check the status of claim or find more info about this?
Customer can call the provider Toll FREE No. at 1-800-88-2878

well,actually they already roll out a special package for some loyal existing customer.
these are the criteria;
Current ARPU>RM100
LOS> 12 months
Customer without any device contract
Potential iPhone 4 users base on current device model used
Only for parents account

as you can see above,the RRP price for both 16 and 32 GB are listed.


those selected few will receive sms from celcomreward and they need to reply to the message to get the devise.
well,i think most probably the price for mass customer more or less the same as this one.

ps:if you fit all the criteria,but still did not get the offer,well sorry then,actually they only take top 5% from all that met the target.maybe they don't see your potential to be an iPhone 4 user this time wink.gif .

haha,i got the same spam,7 times also,but when i try to confirm my interest,i got an error,they said i clicked an invalid link and i need to follow the right one that was sent to my email..so clicked each one of it,but still the same answer.

I also got their invitation email to pick up the phone at Pavilion between 5-7pm,but i don't think i can afford to buy iphone right now..saving money for my vacation end of this month:)

not sure about the accuracy of the info though..but this plan was announced on the same day after they launched iPhone last month.
