Seriously, I'm hoping that data doesn't go down as soon as those thousands of Celcom iPhones go online. 3G is crap congested as it is right now, especially in the Klang Valley.

for those who wana buy outright, i think the best solution is to purchase the phone with 2 years contract, even with the upfront payment and cancellation fee of 500, overall, u r paying around RM2000..still cheaper than the RRP and even better it if u get new from lowyat...same can be done with maxis i think

If Celcom's iPhone got white one, I would get this plan...
And confirm that data usage over the limit, no billshock or extra charges right???

i called celcom hotline.
i called several times actually.
1st one sed as long as i received the invitation email, im eligible for the buy 1 free 1.
but then again i forgot to ask whether the free iphone has to tie contract or not.
so i called again and the 2nd representative sed he has no knowledge abt the buy 1 free 1.
he even put me on hold to check the confirmation and he sed theres no such thing.
the i called again for confirmation.
the 3rd representative sed only if the invitation email mention "buy 1 free 1" only eligible.
i asked abt the term and condition abt the free iphone, she sed she cant give the info because the info only available at the pick up location.
so yeah.

i am one of the invitees.
mine at pavi at 7pm-9pm today.
well if i have to tie the same contract, i just take the "free" iphone la.
then terminate the next day.

If I understand correctly once a principal and supplementary get this plan, the 5+1 package is no more applicable. Only next month bill will confirm that  my 5+1 rate is still applicable if the info given is correct.

Warranty is 1 year,  exec 248 gets 2 years warranty plus insurance.

i've book from celcom blue cube seksyen 9 shah alam and they say that they don't know when the white iphone will arrive. And more they said that the stock will be limited. Then how come in pavillion already got white iphone?? confused

in terms of coverage.. for data service i always find celcom is much better than maxis.. maxis sucks big times. perhaps too many customers in klang valley?
