w/out contract but for existing bb contract holder

i bet celcom gonna extend the contract, no way w/out extending the bb contract

remember, telcos main profit from service

profit from phones are 2nd to them

although some phones are hot sellers but its just a one time

unlike contracts, if maintain long enough they'll get fanboy, err i meant loyal customer for years

went to celcom center @ s'ban this morning

with intention to change my sim card to micro sim

but cant, only can change after 15 Oct, after iPhone launch

anyone here manage to change their sim card at celcom center other than s'ban?

yup, the celcom receptionist staff, the one that gonna give u the appropriate ticket number

i'm telling him what my intentions coming over - to change micro sim, activate itemised bill, activate e-billing

then he said "micro sim sekarang x bleh lg, kte tunda 15 Oktober, tu pun KEMUNGKINAN 15 Oktober la"

the "after iPhone launch" line was me, i said "oo tggu iphone launch, huh!"

the staff just "errr....." kinda speechless

even official news also crap la, ni kan rumors

ceo celcom told that micro-sim will be available at all of its branches by 1st Oct

they delayed it to 15th Oct that is, if its really on the 15th!

basically i just wanted to itemised my bill & e-bill it, cant do it online, have to do it @ celcom outlets

so i'm thinking.. hey, y not get myself a new micro-sim card (for my iphone 4 that i aldy bought months ago ) for just rm10 since today is 1st Oct!

to my surprise they delayed it..

dont make promises that u cant keep

if u really gonna need/use the phone now, just buy it now

don't waste ur time play the waiting game

buy it if u really need it

if u can wait, then play the waiting game

only u can decide whether the extra savings that u could have been saved worth it not (justify ur needs/purpose)

if its happen on Dec, just terminate & subscribe it on Dec

who told you u need to subscribe celcom data plan for 2 years? (go whack his/her head, jk jk )

u can terminate the call plan (exec50) + the data plan (rm38/month) anytime

no contract what-so-damn-ever tied, call celcom's CS & ask

later, buy local iphone + contract

sell the local bought iphone rm100 cheaper than outright purchases option

its the same, either buy local save few hundred bucks

buy sg set, sell local set & gain profit few hundred bucks

in the end, its all up to u

else, u mobile, heck even telekom m'sia might aldy selling iphones now

thats why u only see, in some country, only a few telcos selling iphones, not all telcos (such as m'sia)

but the problem is still there

change my sim to micro-sim today

they just charged me RM5 for it

owh, i changed it at celcom seremban branch, yup, available today aldy

as expected, hiccups along the way, SOME places have been delayed, seremban delayed to 15/10

1st change ur itunes to US region

then browse for free app

download it > create acct

celcom biz - for business entities

celcom blue - prepaid

celcom exec - postpaid

for data plan.. click on celcom broadband plan

i would choose biz plan if, only if the commitment fee is bundled with calls & sms usage

& vice versa, celcom doesnt sell outright yet

2. Yes, can MNP to other mobile carriers after contract expired

3. Yup, will void warranty when jailbreak.. just do a fresh restore before claiming warranty

i'm also using online billing, no more paper billing
