hmmm funny la ur information..so many people already using ip4 with celcom. no prob at all..execept those configuration issues.

Initially celcom didnt launch the iphone (3GS at that time) because they want to see the market trend. At that time... the fever of Iphone is still acceptable. But, since IP4 launched at Malaysia..it has become like a "mad season" for Malaysian..everybody become so curious & hunting the IP4 like crazy.

As you can see...some of Celcom contest now, they`ll give an IPAD to the winner. Its a sign where they are already into "APPLE".

The only thing which bothering us now is whether Celcom have secure the agreement with APPLE or not. As we all know, MAXIS is the official distributor for IPHONE in Malaysia. Even MACHINES dont have stock for IP4, but soon they will, which is also supply by MAXIS.

Assuming that Celcom already secure the business deal with APPLE, & the launching of MicroSim, so it just a matter of time when they will launch the Iphone. Just wait until Mid of December if there is still no sign of it, just forget it then.

Anyway..u still can buy it outright nowadays as i checked with few outlets, they already allow the IP4 to be purchase without any contracts except you have to wait few weeks,

Then my final waiting end of December. If still no news, ill get cash from maxis. They will free us 500MB permonth for a year. No need to switch then.

LOL, since when ip4 can make video call? Their facetime is only like normal video conferencing in PC, but only for ip4 to ip4/mac. It will only work via WiFi (unless jailbreak) & it's not the same with normal 3G video call.

That is why my insider of the insider said that ip4 fir celcom will be available next year....

lols... next year... how long to wait..

well, Celcom doesn't care. they got the Malay market sewn up as well as the govt-linked companies. so ... they don't really need your money & my money.

but I still like their widest 3G coverage... got EDGE even in Teluk Intan!

Whew.. so many rumors here, there and there..

Nevermind.. even though many people talk about if celcom will launch iphone 4 or not, they WILL launch soon.
I can guarantee that, since I work at Celcom HQ.

How I know? My colleagues team up with Network people right now on preparation for the prices, packages and set up something on system.
I can't tell you guys how much the price etc. since I'm not in the Marketing Department and this also classified as PnC. Even my boss also right now on discussion about giving an incentive to dealers for this iPhone program.

But what I know, my colleagues said that they will launch somewhere in December next month. So we just wait & see ya!

Im using iphone 4 maxis set now. If celcom release their iphone 4, i will sign up their postpaid plan and take iphone 4 white. Right now only using postpaid.

Other news, my friend also tanya to those CS in Blue Cube KLCC last week, the CS said they also knew about this iPhone will be release.
So it's already confirm since beginning from our forummer here comment about iPhone leaflet he saw in Blue Cube Johor.

This is from my own personal research...

1. By end of December Completed their 3rd quarter upgrade.
2. By end of December backbone is LTE ready.
3. Theoretical LTE downlink peak data rates up to 100 Mbps with 20 MHz bandwidth
4. Theoretical LTE uplink peak data rates up to 50 Mbps with 20 MHz bandwidth
5. Reduced latency to 10 msec round-trip time between user equipment and base station
6. I'm just waiting to see my broadband back to green light (Meaning HSDPA link speed)
7. They are now have micro sim on the market.
8. I think next year they will be ahead "race leader" again for broadband and smartphone market.
9. Hopefully... iPhone 5 will have the modem to support LTE.
