hi there, i am a newbie here and have been thinking of getting a Full HD plasma TV, possibly 50 inch. Can anyone recomend a good value for money model?

Stretch it a bit and you can get the best 50" FHD Plasma on the market the Panasonic P50V20K.

Almost similar to Kuro after calibration.

But it'll cost you around RM5600.

or go for the U50.

What about Samsung or LG?

Both sucks IMHO, if you don't want the best go shop and look see and buy whatever is in your budget.

Those big shops have lots of display model like Harvey Normal, Sen Heng etc.
