You can try their mobile broadband services. I'm pretty sure the seafront area can get most if not all Singapore mobile BB providers. I was able to get Starhub 3G's signal on consistent strength when I was staying in Taman Unviersiti in SKudai.
You will need a Singapore address to sign up for their postpaid mobile BB; you don't want their prepaid mobile BB because it is significantly more expensive, even when compared to Malaysian providers. |

Tried with Starhub & Singtel from JB hotels. You have to be in JB town centre, as close as possible to Woodlands.

This will not be possible unless Streamyx has some joint-venture with singapore broadband. Well Politically wise, it wont happen any time in future

Just now, i was using M1 prepaid broadband (am now in Singapore).
visiting forum.lowyat.net. but than i open the http://translate.google.com to translate an English word and after that it show "Sorry, we are unable to process your request." Tried many time but the firefox browser keep showing the following page! ![]() Lucky i also has Starhub prepaid broadband. But for Starhub, sometime it cannot open website also. (addition info) Singtel also have prepaid broadband but it is too expensive (S$18 for 3 continues day) so am not going to get the Singtel's prepaid broadband. Singapore mobile broadband is not really reliable if you compare to their wired service. Last time i used M1 mobile Broadband, cannot use P2P DL coz it will cause my PC to blue screen.

QUOTE(yummeh @ Jan 19 2011, 10:13 PM) Hospital sultanah aminah is very near the border.Definitely you are able to get Starhub, Singtel and M1 mobile 3G broadband I suggest Starhub mobile prepaid broadband because it cost is lowest compare to M1 and Singtel. But why not use Maxis or Celcom or Digi or U mobile? You can just buy the package in Malaysia and no need to cross over to Singapore to get the package.
