You can try their mobile broadband services. I'm pretty sure the seafront area can get most if not all Singapore mobile BB providers. I was able to get Starhub 3G's signal on consistent strength when I was staying in Taman Unviersiti in SKudai.

You will need a Singapore address to sign up for their postpaid mobile BB; you don't want their prepaid mobile BB because it is significantly more expensive, even when compared to Malaysian providers.

Tried with Starhub & Singtel from JB hotels. You have to be in JB town centre, as close as possible to Woodlands.

wow! this is really very attractive.
with S$15.69/month (M$36.1/month) you can get 1mbps download speed and unlimited data volume. (never mind the 2 years contract)
i see from the M1 website - this is the broadband postpaid package without the need to have the voice postpaid.

Even if can reach your area, you think they will give support in case of technical issues?

This will not be possible unless Streamyx has some joint-venture with singapore broadband. Well Politically wise, it wont happen any time in future
