MSI Kombuster is just the basic torture test for VGA. iirc OCCT or FurMark is a better benchmark.

i'm not really good in stability test. if for me, i'll run kombuster for 1 hour. then run vantage, 3dmark06. then the final test which i believe the most, gaming of 2-4 hours like dirt2, cod2.

bro owikh84 quote.
QUOTE(owikh84 @ Oct 24 2010, 11:37 PM) Kombustor works quite similar to Furmark. but occt stress my 9800gt to 102'c and above. These two don't stress memory controller, which is pretty much easy to pass & false. For instance, u will pass Furmark but might fail in Unigine, which is known to be memory intensive benchmark tool. U will never go wrong with OCCT, it stress both core & mem. so i wonder is occt applicable here? |
