Messages; I am happily backing up my sms using sms backup and restore; and when i flashed a new rom, i had no problems with it restoring my sms. but i have one question, why all my mms didnt appear? t just appeared as blank messages. i would love if my mms would be shown in the messages too.

Call logs; I tried myBackupProand restored my call logs. the problem is, after restoring my contacts, and restored the logs, it wont recognize the contacts. it just shows the numbers, not the contact name that i saved. is there any other apps that does this perfectly? i've installed Call logs backup and restore but i kinda afraid to use it cuz afraid it'll be the same as myBackuPro. if someone could enlighten me would be great.

Hmm... What customization and design? Don't they both look almost the same? After trying both I find both of them really similar. And of course that's because OpenDesire is pretty much based on CM6

Hey guys , I got a AMOLED version Desire , which using the officlal stock rom , didnt do any mod to it , Yesterday I have receive an OTA update package , it is about 25mb , it said it update what Gmail application and whatsoever . After I download and installed , when the Desire keep restarting ! When it reach the screen of 'Brilliant' , rebooting , 'Brilliant'  reboot .

I done my research . I did a hard reset , the things happened again ! So I found some solution that use to solve my kind of problem . ROM reflash through the HTC sync .

but none of them is working , I received error like 'file open error, not found' , 'customer id not match' , 'bootloader version is different' . They said I might download a corrupted file , so I download 3  4 times , but still getting file open error !

My current ROM version is 2.10.405.2 .

What should I do now ? Really pissed me off , what kind of update is that ? make the phone keep restarting .

Can anyone tell me how to clean this mess ? any solution ?

Hi, im trying to unroot my phone. I've installed the latest HTC Sync & downloaded the required RUU but I keep on getting USB connection error.

I can't even get HTC Sync to connect to my phone.

Storage mode works though.

I'm currently on LeeDroid & am using 09_30 radio.

Really desperate as my phone is rebooting about 3 - 4 times a day. I've tried several roms but issue still persists. Am desperate to try stock & if it still happens, will want to send it back to Maxis.

now after sms, need manual clear the notification...

I just remove the battery if it hangs.

If your Desire becomes hot and hang on prolong use, it is not normal.  Hot is normal but hang is not.  Some Desire user in Spore get a mobo replacement for the overheat problem.  You might consider sending it for replacement if yours are Maxis/Sis authorised set.

did you wipe wipe wipe everthing and do factory reset before you install the new rom?  I suggest you do from ground zero - repartition your card, do ext3, wipe everything, then only install the a new rom, then the radio.  Please do not forget to backup!!

Try the AuraxTSense 7.6.1 with radio 32.47.00.32U_5.10.05.23.  Few AuraxTSense users find this combo stable and fast. 

You can disable the default SMS notification:

Message > Setting > Received Notification (Un-check)

thanks. i notice there is some notification setting under this setting, if uncheck will incoming sms still make sound or vibrate?

when restoring, which do i choose? i'm using handcent btw.

Seems like there's a new AuraxTSense rom from Desire HD. Anyone tried that out yet?

For those who r using Non-Sense ROM, can the contact sync with FB contact?
If cant, what are the contact photo options available?
