Terran, campaign will familiarize you with units and such.. but not all units available in multiplayer. try out the challenges and ai matches as well.

the trial time will run even if you're at menu i think
maybe you can play with very easy ai coz if play campaign the cinematic/movie already eats up a lot of the trial times

yeah. i donno what's the point of this thread.

you have NO experience because you haven't played the game. go play the campaign from casual to brutal, you'll learn quite some stuff. biggrin.gif

but not all units are found on multiplayer, so yeah no experience? go play some multiplayer matches against human or AI.

come ask here also no point, i tell you what race i like it also no guarantee to suit you.

for me i can play all 3 races, so i'll tell you all 3 races good for newbies - cos in the end you'll still lose until you gain some experience. tongue.gif

Click single player and there should be "Play against AI" button at right side
then just wait for the maps to load
select a map then go next screen
select computer AI you want to play against
then start and glhf with the AI

you must have original version

just start playing random 1 v 1 quick match... you'll learn faster by hantam-ing through yourself instead of asking here n there... like my friends always says " guest pass use for losing one... so just go play with the pros and lose, no problem... at least you learn a thing or 2..."

If you want to play SC2 just cause its the in thing right now, so that you wouldnt sound like some mountain turtle when people around you gush about SC2 ...

I would suggest that you save your money and dont bother.

While the single player portions of the game tries to gently ease you into the brutal world of multiplayer league games, if you have no dedication nor motivation to improve, its not really gonna help much.

Chances are, in this part of the world, I'll give it another 6 months before the random nubs on bnet realise that SC2 on the competitive level is way beyond what they're willing to sacrifice in terms of time and effort.

So please, save yourself the trouble and more importantly, save us the trouble of having to spoon feed you every scrap of information that a simple google search would have sufficed.

the actions the players did and what happened on the screen DOES NOT TALLY, this is a laosy demonstration of what actually happening, do not misunderstand me, i am not saying pro dont have the speed. just what happened on the screen and those keystrokes entered, and the mouse movement just dont make any sense.

if you pay CLOSE attention, it does. just people having a lil redundant actions (like spam selecting units) to keep the tempo going. (apparent in war3)

sc1 though, you can notice that the "applied apm" made more sense as the screen reflects the actions (less redundancy, considering the game is well, "less automated" than say, sc2 lol)

To say NaDa's APM makes no sense is just so wrong. If you watch carefully what he does with his APM and actions on the screen, he's not 'spamming' to look cool but he's that cool with the right decision and accurate timing.

If Boxer is the emperor of Terran, then NaDa is the genius among Terran.
