Item received today in excellent condition. Have tested a few songs and I have to say that it noticeably improved the sound especially on the high notes. Cymbals, horns, jazz and trumpets came out more expressive, spacious and clearer, with the little small details that I wasn't able to hear clearly last time. I've been using the mini cables that came with my iriver portable and multimedia speakers which are gold plated but this one just sounded better.
