if you have septic tank in your backyard home, AND NEVER take drainage services from IW, DON'T PAY.

i had same problem with IW before, they charge me nearly went to RM 1K, despite i never done any drainage services.

their only excuse saying than my sewage is transfer to sewage treatment, in which by the way, in my housing area do not have one.

IW i consider them as legal gangster

Those who kena pay for sewage treatment ONLY when your housing area HAS SEWAGE TREATMENT FACILITY.

those who has Septic Tank consider self-own sewage treatment, only when times come, then ask & pay IW for drainage services.

So far my house for the past 15 years only 1 time use drainage services.

i study civil engineering, so we study sewage stuff also

so here 's the point :

In Housing area, one developer must take consider what kind of sewage treatment to facilitate for the area purpose.

If the area is flat, spacious land etc normal septic tank is applied.

if the area is crowded, like flat or condo etc then sewage treatment facility is applied.

the developer only build the sewage treatment facility, but maintain by your local sewage treatment eg Indah Water.

Septic tank is like this;



the septic tanks have or have not outlet

those that have outlet mostly use in bungalow

those do not have mostly terrace house

while does who use the kena sewage treatment its suppose to be like this;


so from legal POV, those who kena sewage treatment facility is the one who pay monthly bill

those who have septic DO NOT OR WERE NOT TO PAY as you is using a SEPTIC TANK

ONLY PAY FOR DRAINAGE SERVICES THAT'S LIKE 1 TIMES PER 10 YEARS.

the problem is, Septic tank Owner ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO PAY SINCE THE EFLUENT THAT COME OUT DIRECTLY INTO THE DRAIN, NOT GOING INTO SEWAGE TREATMENT FACILITY CENTER.

KAPPISH?

AND ALREADY SETTLE IN COURT, THE CHARGE LETTER FROM IW WAS DROP SINCE THE CASE VOID FOR THE ABOVE REASON.

ask your developer whether they have install a septic tank that are either goes into sewage treatment facility or standard septic tank which does not goes into sewage treatment

like i said before, i drainage service once every 10+ years, that's the only service i pay for.

By the way, before bashing how the the dirty water goes, go study your little head at this septic tank & definitions

this is very basic knowledge, those who's study civil engineering knows how both work

look, IF the area has sewage treatment facility, then its under directly in-charge of IW

some sewage treatment facility do own by the gomen but it was handle by IW also.

but basically, those housing area that have that sewage treatment facility is the one suppose to pay, not self own septic tank

helo, never see septic tank? live where? condo? of course people like you never see one.
