Pardon them on this.

The tempo in Penang is not as fast in KL. And perhaps the only road where one can drive fast on Penang Island is the coastal road stretch fr Macallum St to Queensbay Mall. Even then the speed limit is only 80km/h & 70km/h after The View.

Yes, the bikes & small roads on the island make it extra challenging. However, if u can master the skill of driving safely while maintaining efficiency, u're gonna be fine everywhere else. Drivers in Penang generally can park their cars really well. Not like in KL, where plenty of 'awek & makcik, lenglui & aunty' can't park a Kancil properly.

There's another stretch where Penangites can drive fast. Its the long and wide stretch from Tanjung Bungah Hotel all the way to Sunrise Tower. Don't bother mentioning the ridiculous amount of traffic lights plaguing that particular stretch as red lights do not mean anything to those with an itchy right foot.

Motorcyclists in Penang are crazy. No helmets and doing zig-zags all the time at high speed. Some even casually talk to each other while HOGGING both lanes.

Situation should be like this. MPV lost control, crashed, followed by impact from lorry which normally love to stick closely behind any moving objects, couldn't stop in time, bang...!!!

It's just a lorry sending vegetables. Imagine bigger lorry, what will happen?

I think if he was driving a Volvo XC90 he would have survived. That car is a tank. Safest car in the world.

Also, the guy who was thrown out into the sea is like Superman. Man of steel. Many people would have undoubtedly drown against the strong current while shell shocked.
