It is very subjective. For example, during traffic jam, is the right most lane has to be empty for "higher speed driver"? It is not, as the traffic is congested and all lanes are in full capacity, please be patient.
Like mentioned earlier, each driver may decide their own speed (fast/slow/beyond speed limit/turtle crawling style), give way to faster car if you are in the right most lane. And also, the car from behind will have no right to pressure the front driver to drive beyond speed limit (he has his right to drive safely), when there is no space in left lane, eg. as faster car pressure the car infront which is overtaking a slower car.
I don't think a 160km/h car will drive in middle lane and keep zig-zag to over take the cars in middle lane, and that car will stay in the right lane (road hogger)?
About the road accicdent:
I pity the passangers as they traveled with the driver. The driver was irresponsible to his friends as well as the bridge users. Imagine if it was another car/motorcycle (instead of lorry) bang the lavina, there would be another fatal case.
Learn to be responsible before driving on road.
About the speed limit on penang bridge:
Still feel that 80km/h on bridge is slow... and i also notice the 70km/h before the ramp (i feel very annoying)... need a super percise right foot control on accelerator... (and i drive either in middle lane or left most lane.. don't curse me of hogging the right lane
Do you all notice the camera anyway (sign boards near entrance in both directions)?
