all fuji sifu, i currently being poisoned by IT fair yesterday in midvalley using fuji xpro1 and x100, and i would like to get one for street photography...wonder which has better price to performance ratio...(thinking of dumping GF3 and grab one of these)

one thing i notice on x100 is the aperture blade then to be sticky (heard lot of ppl complain bout it) and does it affect performance when in like burst mode?
just want some suggestion to help my decision on x100 or the more expensive xpro1, and i prefer optical viewfinder so not considering the XE-1...thanks by the way

but now i am thinking should i put this money into X100 or xpro1...
other than xpro1 is interchangeable, any pro and cons from choosing this two camera? really like the 35mm 1.4 lens
wonder izit worth getting a second hand 1 year old x100 around 2.3k?

hmm, i notice that the writing speed quite slow and quite bother me...especially using higher iso setting...but i really like the manual mode of the camera

and another thing i worry is shutter count...does it really a thing to care? erm since it is using leaf shutter instead of moving auto reflex shutter mirror in DSLR, shutter count is something to be care of when buying 2nd hand x100?

hope this should clear my mind on x100 and get one soon...dunno will eventually get the xpro1...tamak..

off topic question..is there any third party lens for fuji X mount for xpro1?

seems like both have the point...x100 that time come out also around 3.5k, seems normal for x100s to have that RRP...but from what i research..x100s does not have much improvement from x100, that improvement worth spending 1k extra on that
i just want my money spent wise...first time getting a big sensor compact camera

one thing to ask, is x100 viewfinder size affected by the sensor size?
from what i know, DSLR with APS-C sensor size will have APS-C size viewfinder, FF cam has bigger viewfinder and etc...
is x100 restricted to this or just having a big rangefinder size viewfinder?

i gonna share my hand on experience on this camera, it feels solid and robust, but in a very light weight! Perfect for street!
one thing lagging behind is the start up speed, just can not turn on the switch and directly snap the shutter...no really quick for snap and run photography
OVF is uneasy to see in bright sky and day, jog dial and 4 way pad no so solid build and scare to "rosak" easily

dust particle enter to the viewfinder, i dunno how this is happening, anyone has this issue b4? and is it fixable?
but i guess that the thing that bother me for now, in the super bright side~it gives me edge to edge sharpness, and unexpected good dynamic range

blow up 300% no problem!
(my photography skill no yet reach, still got lots to learn in controls, do C&C!)
Silent operation and i snap like a ninja, all i need is my right hand and shoot all the way down!
Saw and heard lot of people complaining about slow operation, but once i turn on, it never stop me from shooting

still hasnt completely explore and discover this unique camera yet, may need guide from all Fuji sifus cheers.gif!

Hidden: i am using a sandisk 16gb extreme class ten
Treflip: the location is opposite Kuala Lumpur KTM station

It is somehow difficult to turn on and off the switch..and dunno how dust particle enter the viewfinder..
But in the end. I never shoot street like so easy b4

@geek: i am using X100 now for one week long..b4 that read lot of issue on slow AF speed, slow camera response, everything cons on the x100 stated on the web, we easily see it in a magnified way..."forgotten about the pros on x100"...but i never feel these issue drag me down, turn out i am more ready to shoot when the camera is on...since there is a delay in x100 start up, so i pre-frame the picture and then when the camera started up, i am ready to shoot...plus a extreme UHS card..nothing gets in my way

@shockk: mind share where u get your shutter button?

there is nothing to hate bout this camera, plus the box is just lovely but the release of x100s really left x100 in the dust...sad...

haha! XD
@shockk: or you might want to tell Fuji to make another X100S2 using X100 box...then the release will make another X100 user cry...
now i only notice TS changes the topic title..
but i really impressed that X100 release leave Sigma DP2 and Leica X1 in the dust...

wonder X100S has better improvement in battery life...my X100 just manage to get ngam ngam 330 picture till today, compare to D700 battery life this is so short...and wonder third party battery life also the same?

bro shockk: is it normal for a shutter button to cost for RM200? i thought gonna cost around RM50 or is there other cheaper alternative?

you do BW conversion in camera or PS?
*
bro, i am direct using B&W filter from X100, do C&C as i am still a beginner, but shooting was never this fun with X100!
some how the exposure meter making me headache...have to 24/7 check on the exposure, easily overexpose...
