Is the Shoe mount flash EF-20 available in Malaysia?

Just sold off all my DSLR, lenses and acc after 6 years of collecting them and bought X100. So far loving it and if I were to have the ef-20, my mission is complete.

Bring it to Fuji Glenmarie, what is the first 3 digit of your x100 serial number??

I'm in JB. I bought it used. Still got 1 month warranty left. Will be going to JB collection center on Friday.

The 1st 3 digits is 12M.

Wah.. good experience ya.. hope they fix mine.. it is a great little camera.

I bought a ipad camera connection kit from machine today. Can directly connect my x100 to my ipad and download the photos. After I installed iphoto for iOS, can edit photos if needed..

The whole combo (x100 n ipad) is great for travelling lite.. no more bulky dslr with a laptop..

I'm planning to use that setup, once I get an iPad with bigger storage biggrin.gif

i found that iphoto for ipad is no photoshop. But no slouch either. With nice jpeg rendering by x100, you need
the slightest editing but if you need so, iphoto is great for editing on the go... rclxms.gif

Apparently if you have an internet connection and use the iCloud service then iPhoto will automatically sync and backup your photos to iCloud. Peace of mind when you are travelling...

if I were buying a 2nd hand x100 unit...what should I look for during testing?
thanks in advance

This what I did a month ago..... I didn't really understand SAB (sticky aperture blade) issue... I COD at night.. so tested inside McD which was low light..
So the effect of SAB was not pronounced in low light.. the next morning, I realized something was wrong. The exposure was here and there.. mostly over exposed.
Luckily, the X100 unit was 11 months old.. still got 1 month warranty left... Sent to Fujifilm in JB. It took them 1 month to return to me with the lens assembly
replaced. Now, the X100 is a gem.... the cost of lens replacement is RM1065.... So better look for in warranty used unit... sweat.gif

I think the best way to test is to shoot in aperture mode and set aperture at f16. Then shoot at bright object and see if the resulting photo is not overexpose.

Just my 2 cent... whistling.gif
