I love my X100!!! The full manual controls are wonderful and make the process of shooting itself such a joy. You do need to take your time though... which can only be a good thing.

The only thing I wish it had was a button I can press to set it to full auto so that someone else can use the camera to take a snapshot. Too complicating for most people to just pick up and shoot. Difficult to get someone to shoot a proper picture of myself with my own camera!!! biggrin.gif

Thanks guys. Love the Fuji colors!

Hope they release a firmware update to combine the Auto ISO with the manual ISO controls. It's such a pain now to have to access separate menu items for each one.

Just got mine last Saturday. I totally adore this camera, the best I've ever owned. I love the low light capabilities. Now, I gotta get a UV Filter and adapter ring, fast. Anyone can vouch for Shashinki?

Products
1 x JJC LH-JX100 (Replacing Fujifilm LH-X100) Lens Hood with Adapter Ring for the X100 Camera (Silver) (# Hood/Adapter Ring All-Metal Construction) RM138.00

i bought from shashinki.com and i don't really recommend because the lens hood loose after about 3 months used but the adapter ring is working perfect.

btw, the hood block the flash.

Give the slots on the hood a squeeze and it'll fit nice and tight.

Just bought the X100, its my first ever camera. I have to say the build quality of this is amazing! Being a total newcomer in the world of photography, I have to say its hard to sink in all the manual controls so far.

Hopefully in the coming weeks, I can start to take pictures like all those x100 user's on the internet. smile.gif

Well actually GXR goes quite well with the X100 ... cos it eats the same battery ...
