QUOTE(Thalmes @ Dec 4 2012, 12:35 AM) The number of counts doesn't really bother me but it is nice to know as the 2nd owner. How do you guys keep your camera clean ? Any Polish Kit to recommend ? And also, how do you guys bring your camera out ? With a case ? half case ? Pouch ? Or go naked ? Need to buy accessories for it now just put in my naked camera in the bag and that's it. QUOTE(seather @ Dec 4 2012, 10:07 AM) going to collect my x100 tomorrow.. just curious.... do u all buy the lens hood too? i don't use hood just a filter is enough.

i wonder how u guys with x100(im one of u guys) feel about this upcoming x100s. do u really need to wait for it? or better wait for the next model after x100s, by that time i think its nearly perfect. so should i sell my x100 and wait for it? i don't think so. no point going tru all the spec sheet again and again. just go get urself a x100 now and if x100s is really so damn amazing then u can get urself another one. simple as that. i bought my x100 just because it look so damn retro and from then i start learning photography until now.

QUOTE(super aloha @ Jan 23 2013, 02:12 PM) Patiently waited to hands on the new X100s too, Fuji made an good solution to enhance further the main core factor in the X100 sensor, procesor and already the well design customize lens that stay on the new X100s. Once an owner, 4ever fall n love with it jst during those day I wasn't able to keep any longer my X100 and due to sell it for financial issue but if there any chances I definately will reconsider to get it back the new X100S, very excited hehe Not sure share tis before or not hehe hpe dun mind QUOTE(neverland @ Jan 23 2013, 08:34 PM) Hello everyone! QUOTE(hidden830726 @ Feb 21 2013, 02:01 AM) Hmm, unusual perspective, break the third..m prefer more sky...less water and rule of third with the eater horizon, sleepy.. I just simply comment... Ok and love to see the trunk in d middle. PS. Sorry no photos...i only know comment, still plenty to learn...my photo skill very bad... i hope to create a isometric shadow from the tree at same time fit in the trunk. not saying u r writing too much in fact that's a good thing. just haven't seen any photo upload by anyone recently. so to fresh it up i upload mine. QUOTE(ian31 @ Feb 21 2013, 08:19 AM) To all the Sifu here, Do you have any tips of focusing in low light conditions? I find that my subject always not getting correct focusing during lowlight and always get blurred out. Thanks! x100 always kinda hard to focus in low light, manual focus is a good option for it This post has been edited by velma: Feb 21 2013, 11:58 AM

QUOTE(QiAnG @ Feb 21 2013, 01:45 PM) Hey guys, been itching on jumping onto the x100 camp for some time now. Just found 1 used unit with 11 months warranty left for RM2k and decided to bite the bullet. But then now I'm struggling whether or not to save that little bit more for x100s. It seems to have the improvements for most of the complaints made by x100 users, and a better sensor too. haha, decisions decisions!! i think the x100s price would be around 3.5k to 4k when its release. so u r paying 1.5 or 2 more for a new model. better go for the used x100 with 2k.

QUOTE(QiAnG @ Feb 21 2013, 11:41 PM) Quite true, after some thinking and coin tossing(lol), for the current price of used x100, doesn't seem worth it to pay the premium for x100s. Might just save that few grands and spend them in accesories like flashes and wide converters. Since all cameras are just compromises, might as well spend the time and make myself a better photographer, sometimes poorer cameras actually provide better learning curve. Shoot more! =) Might be grabbing the x100 and join this community by next week. true enough.. hope to see u soon with a x100

QUOTE(mumeichan @ Feb 22 2013, 01:40 PM) Mid February Sunset wonderful sun ray QUOTE(treflip @ Feb 22 2013, 07:03 PM) Why worry so much on the technical aspect of a camera (fast AF, iso performace, focal length, *megapixels* well my Leica M8 just have 10.3mp, blablabla). I know I don't hehehe Just focus on your composition and learn more about lighting or if you want a reliable focusing system there is such thing as manual focus *just sayin* Who needs the X100s when the X100 is already a-no-complain-camera for me. Unless if i seriously bust the camera up bad. well said. This post has been edited by velma: Feb 22 2013, 10:26 PM
