sorry, can tumpang thread on a similar question - what would be a typical height to mount a 40" lcd in a living room?
should your eye level be at the vertical center of lcd like 4-5 ft from floor level?

shaolintiger: the conduit that you mentioned, how big is it overall? would a 3 pin plug be able to travel inside freely?

I pulled speaker cable for the surround speakers, wireman didn't charge me extra cos I ady rewire the whole house, he help me pull CAT6 cable too for my HTPC (from study to TV area) put he couldn't put the faceplate.
