QUOTE(alien2003 @ Sep 26 2010, 12:53 AM) They are doing well in the league and its away game so we might resort to our 4-5-1 formation with Wayne leading the line alone? Please don't leave Berba on the bench. He is on sizzling form right now, he should be able to start 2 games in a row, together with Rooney. Owen, sorry mate, you need to sit, we need Rooney more than you.Alien, is the time for the kick-off confirmed ar? Thats really an early kick off. |

Wan iz haz succez jinx Chelski. Citeh played like sh*t last nite, thanks for Wan that they win. Not even a glance of ambition in Mancini lineup, 3 defensive midfielder in HOME game, this worst than Jose reign with Maka-alele as anchor man in Chelski time. It even worst than Leeds when we played that at FA cup last season!!
I'm expecting Kevin Davies to bully Evans tonight unless Rio start, Bolton will continue with their long ball tactics and if they ambitious enough, they will start with Elmander and Davies upfront. The team need to win, they have to. |

Davies and Elmander are pain in the ass when comes to air ball, even experienced Vidic having problem coping with those 2 players, how to do you expect Evans which less experienced and less bulky to compete with those 2 players? Davies purpose on the pitch is just to head the ball, nothing more than that, he is sh*t on when he played with his foot. Evans did well IMO, any defender at any day will have problem dealing with Davies and Elmander. Instead blaming Evans alone for the mistake his make, his teammate should do better covering job to the player around Davies or Elmander when contesting air ball.
O'Shea should did better in this game, a lot of times he caught off guard in his position. The 2nd goal we conceded, instead of going to CB position, he should stick on RB and cover the hole there. We played well but not good enough. 3 points outta 3 away match is poor, not good enough if we wanted to win the title this season. Rio gotta be back, defense is shambolic without him. Poor Rooney, still can't find his footing and form back and I got him in my fantasy team Horror week for the top team, none of the UCL team won this weekend. |

QUOTE(eetfukouijaaa @ Sep 26 2010, 09:04 PM) Ferguson needs to inject the back 4 with someone solid and hard. Our midfield needs some fixing too. Tak consistent lah. Last week we played so good now we play like shit. How to win anything like this. Need to look into more players. Training youth is one thing but we can't wait 3-4 years for them to mature. We need someone who can help us as soon as he comes in. You must be mistaken Man Utd for Arsenal. We don't play like dung like you said, we did well but not good enough. Everton game is shit, when u conceded 2 goals at dying minutes. We came twice from behind, that is good enough.QUOTE(idevonz @ Sep 26 2010, 09:09 PM) seriously? Nani wearing Nike boots. It's a new color, with pink laces.Bolton is a never an easy opponent, mind you. We were lucky if not Owen scored. But we are conceding goals like water tap which worries me. BTW, is Nani wearing an Adidas boots? I noticed his boots got 3 stripes? Correct me if I'm wrong. QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Sep 26 2010, 09:09 PM) this is not bashing, this is addressing the problems that is pretty obvious so far. To be honest i think Evans works better with Ferdinand, Rio will always keep him in check..order him to mark here mark there, when attacking corners Rio is the one telling him where to stand and expect to head the ball. Defense is leaking goals, we have the same back line when we break the British record for not conceding goal, its the same set or players apart from Rio is out with injury or watever reason he missed the game for. What I mean by defense is not pin pointing to one player alone, the whole team have to attack and defense as a team.If everytime also "relax la, slack kat diorang yang tak perform" then there will be no improvement. |

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Sep 28 2010, 03:22 PM) the only tall defender i know is smalling, and he's unexperience one(so we can't rely on them) Vidic is 1.88cm,vidic is pendek evans is pendek brown is pendek rio is so-so hmmph Evans is 1.88m, Brown is 1.85cm, Rio is 1.89cm Smalling is 1.93cm. To be fair, that few centimeters of different won't give much impact to the defense. The most crucial in defending in experience, discipline and leadership. We lack all those 3 of those when Rio is out, Evans still considered inexperience and the goals we gave away showed how poor is the defense discipline is. Height won't win you game, neither prevent goals from going in. Look at Paolo Maldini and Puyol, great defender but they ain't giant. Their experience and leadership is the most crucial to the team, that is why AC Milan was so strong few years back when they won the UCL with bunch of relatively old players. |

Alien, can update the match time please
Personally, away to Sunderland, one of the many boogey team in the making, I doubt SAF will go for 4-4-2, even if Rio is on the defense. I'm looking for 4-5-1 with Berbatov leading the attack again, with Fletcher, Ando and Carrick in midfield, Nani and Park on the wing. That I think is the best formation we had if we wanted to get a result from away match. Owen, Chicharito and Macheda are all in good form, hard to play them all especially playing against Sunderland. |
