I have one question. Our away games have been horrible tough games so far. How does this season compare with similar fixtures from last season?

I am hoping to see Macheda and Berbatov partnering next match... let Rooney come from sub for the moment... i think he is suffering frm the lost of confidence. Let the other shoulder the burden first, take the burden off him for the moment.

I'm worried...Eversince I've been a Man Utd fan, I rarely get worried. But I still BELIEVE. Really hope Rio's back tonight. At least it'll bring a bit of stability in the team.

if im not wrong, Welbeck cannot feature in this game. Players who are loaned out are not allowed to play against their mother club. Thats why City wan to loan Given away. Can help some big team gain some point, but cant play against City, which i suppose is good?

did anyone noticed that Nani has changed boots from Nike Mercurial Vapor to Adidas F50? I tot he is sponsor by Nike? Or the player have the permission to choose and try any other boot?

Other than Nani, Dani Alves also has changed boot from Nike to Adidas.

we are the team who depends heavily on good wingers. when our wingers had a great game, other players especially in the middle of the field would also enjoy the same good game.

last time we had Beckham and Ronaldo. during that period, most of our attacks and goals started from these 2 guys. Keane, Scholes, Carrick can bosses the middle of the field because opponents were focusing on our wingers a lot. Beckham with his long ball and crosses into the box, and Ronaldo with his maze run and thunderous shot could produce big things from nothing.

now as Valencia is injured, it's up to Nani to perform well. because most of our goals will come from wing play..

And we have the likes of Nani, Valencia, Park, Giggs, Cleverley, Obertan out wide. We will always play with two strikers. So the position left to play is in the middle. Nobody will use him in the middle when they play 442(which we do play a lot of the time). And thus that's one of the reason why we never bought any of his kind/type(Sneidjer is another one) unless they're comfortable playing there(middle of 442). Ando, forward/attacking midfielder before he joins us and now he plays more like a deep lying midfielder, battling for the ball and spraying passes from deep ala Carrick/Scholes/Fletcher.

He could really be useful for us in a 433/4231 setup though since we don't really have an option that could wow us from there right now. But then would he really be happy not being the absolute first choice since we play more than half our games with 442.

Anyways .. there are a few key differences between Man Utd and Liv.

1) The debt in Man Utd is long term debt. Liv's is short term.
2) Man utd cash flow is light years ahead of Liv. Revenue is much, much higher and can support the wages and interest repayments.

This will make a world of difference between the two clubs. Whether the club can maintain the success on the pitch without SAF in order to maintain that revenue, remains to be seen. So for the short term, things are fine and dandy. Look further down the road, and things get a lot darker ....
