Yes, I'm aware of that, I'm currently using Alex cooling pad from Chubby Pets Garden and some ceramic tiles to cover the wired platform. Ceramic tiles wont get hot and it doubles up as cooling pad too !

I cut open this Razer Mantis mouse pad tube in the other end and my chin is loving it crawling in and out of the tube.

Dont worry too much if without air cond, my chinc is doing fine without a/c too. Just make sure you put your chin in an opened area with good ventilation, like living room and not in a stuffy store room. Also, I have 2 cooling pads, one is Marukan Japan and the other is Alex aluminium plate.

Only once I saw her ears become orange, which is a sign of overheating. I hold her in front of an opened fridge to cool her down.

My chin is starting to knaw at wire insulations, very dangerous !!

Please give me some ideas on how to protect my wires without spending a bomb or too much time ?

I read that some use clear vinyl pvc tubing and wrap over the exposed wires. Any better ideas ?

My chin is now 430g, estimated 9months old.
Is this weight ok ? She is very picky on food though.

Chins doesn't like to be hold, but if you do it oftenly they will get used to it and wont be so nervous trying to jump off your hand. But they will not let you hold for long period of time though.

My chin only lets me tickle around her neck when she is sleepy, otherwise she will push my finger again. Or am I doing it wrong ?

Chipsi is safe but I'm only using them in the "toilet" as absorbent, not as bedding.
