Finally I cooked my own firmware. Here's my change log :
1. Installserver Pre-hacked (install 99.9% of SIS/SISX)
2. English + Chinese Input (no Qwerty yet, but Alphanumberic input)
3. Pre-embed with Nokia N8 icon
4. C6 v20 new interface dialer
5. Vivaz Conversation preloaded
6. Pre-installed Ovi Maps 3.06
7. Quickoffice and PDF Reader removed
8. Wi-Fi Position Method preloaded
9. Smooth and modded kinetic scroll
10. Light bug fixed
11. 70MB+ on C: Drive
12. Cache Moved to E: Drive
13. 50MB+ RAM on startup

Updated through OTA. (*#000# and check for updates and stuffs)

Just a quick question here, since 5800 can flash to C6 firmware, is it possible for us to format the phone totally to make it run on android ?

Anything just flash back to original FW.
Im using CFW while the warranty only passed 5months.

I am looking for that too. So far, non of them is reliable.

ones that i've tried either doesn't render the fonts properly [sometimes even gibberish] or just lags badly...
one more thing,where can i get a replacement battery ,how much would it normally cost and how to verify if it's original or fake?Are 3rd party batteries like the one from Sun Global safe and reliable?

What CFW you guys using?

I'm using Transformed Ultimate.

So much cooler with the widgets in homescreen. Best of all is the gallery. Images can be zoomed in/out instantly, ori FW will take a second or so before zooming. Got easy way to mark photos/videos instead of going through Options - Mark - and doing it repeatedly.

GPS locks on a lot faster, contacts easier to find.

It's a lot faster and rotating is also almost instant.

Hi all, pardon me for a noob question... I have read the forum and roughly understood how to flash the cfw using JAF... but seems that there is a pre-requisite to upgrade to original FW of v51 first right? The issue here is that I can only see v52 OTA and I am running v40 right now... Appreciate any advice on this... Thanks very much

I tink ofw..

my phone slipped from my fingers and wanted to drop on the floor but my butter fingers managed to mis grip and it slid into my coffee cup which had a diamterer of 7cm.
half of it went submerged in old town hazelnut flavoured white coffee.
and now it's not starting.
pls help ?
anyway to do CPR ???
