Did inspection of my Halo studio unit yesterday. Though there were a number of defects need to be done, I am actually quite satisfied with the unit. It is really not as bad as what some highlighted in the forum. Units come in different Color door frame and kitchen cabinet's color follows the door color. I got my favourite color yellow by chance. There's are blue, red, orange and grey. For the price, I am paying, I am very happy. Items provided are not bad, Sharp Microwave, 32" LED TV, curtains, air con, sofa and quality of furnishes actually exceeded my expectation like sink, water tap, toilet, window, kitchen cabinets etc. The biggest disappointment is the sliding doors to bathroom which are made of plywood. I think Halo and Sunday should do well.

I talk east, you talk west. My satisfaction is solely from the condition of my own unit and the overall layout. As for the things that you hv mentioned about not receiving keys until all defects are done, bank loan issue etc, yes, I too is not happy but it has nothing to do with my satisfaction of the physical unit. I am a very objective person. I know the difference between a condo and a developer. Developer may be unscrupulous but the product (I am referring to my own unit specifically) is meeting my expectation. Cheers!

I am still waiting for my defects to be completed. Langsung no news from them of the completion. Must we chase them or allowing them to take their sweet time to complete? Anyone here gotten their defects rectified?

True, I passed by last few days, literally no work at all. Hopefully it is just new year break. No workers to be seen even today. Developer will lose big time if abandon now. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

It is also in the interest of the developer to complete the project ASAP. I can understand if they take their sweet time to do the defect rectification of condo after handing over as there is no loss to them but here we are talking about commercial properties where payments have yet to be paid before completion and the mall where there is no income at all from rental. Some may abort buying like MyEG as it has breached the terms. What would be the real reason behind the delay? Banks withdraw funding because they are not able to service loan, management problem, planning problem etc etc... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif judging from the current progress, the whole project will be delayed by long long term and we will be lucky if it will able be completed as the longer they delay the bigger the chance it will be abandoned. Can Mammoth Empire afford that as they still hv other ongoing projects? Till to date after more than 3 months, defect rectification for Sunday and Halo has not completed. What can the owners do about it? What our rights? Any advice?

Rest yes but what about commercial/office building where the delay is from now? Not forgetting for the mall which is owned by themselves.

Buy to rent or to stay also problem because until todate, rectification work also not done yet. Keys are still with them and they are sending maintenance fee bill asking for payment. How lah? Can we not pay? Any advice from other owners? Anyone received keys and rectification work done?
