Could it be that these so called defects are just cosmetic defects and after a few round of changing owners/renovation AND as long as there is no structural defect, there should not be any difference in the long run because a building is a building is a building? Maybe, just maybe, all these are just overblown and at the end of the day life goes on and investors make money and renters/own stayers continue to stay there. After all, which building has collapsed in Malaysia due to poor quality? As long as MEH make sure the structural got no defects, they do not care much about those less important defects and that is how they operate low cost I think. Anyway, this is just my speculation. I do not condone these irresponsible developers. Ideally, everything should be done as per promised and even better than promised. otherwise, how is our nation going to improve?
