I am not sure why ED stuff is discussed here but I guess it is related to the same developer.

As to the VP of ED in particular Soho 2, I find it to be a very sloppy way to do the handover. Technically, they can say that the unit is ready but the surrounding environment have not met the safety and health aspect as far as one can see from the visit there. That is to say, the unit is ready, but it is not safe to even get there. Debris can be found over the place and construction is still ongoing in a some ways. For the architect to sign off the VP stage, I think there he has some explanation to do.

To Empire, the developer, this would present an opportunity to avoid the late delivery penalty as it is about 36 months from date of SPA.

Another observation, is that the units though fully furnished are not furnished yet. Buyers need to coordinate with multiple parties such as TV and Minibar (with an electrical shop), Air con with someone else after VP and god knows whom for the curtains etc etc........

I know many buyers are not too happy over this matter.

Architect got balls mah!!! But then again the first VP inspection is 25 Feb, more than a month from their letter dated 20 Jan. Really con buyers of more than a month out of 6 months defect liability.

They are speeding it up at the expense of 1 month defect liability period. Buyers rugi lar........ Need to pay maintenance some more!!
